Couldn't sleep this morning so got up at 4 and began watching TV when I ran upon the worst crime I've ever heard of in my life.

This dude Chris Watts was having an affair and apparently didn't want to pay alimony or child support so he strangles his wife and smothers his 2 girls with the oldest only being 4 years old.
To make matters worse he put his beautiful little girls in silos of crude oil.

Evil at its worst. Chris Watts is his name.

Probably shouldn't have posted this but we cover everything in here and now I can't get this picture out of my mind..

I don't understand crimes like that. I get that someone can act in a fit of passion and do something stupid but how do you kill your own children in cold blood? How do you kill anyone's child like that? We are biologically programmed to respond to children. It's an imperative that even those of us who don't have kids are still programmed to do because that is the role of human adults. We protect little humans. In order to really break that and kill your own child you have to be broken in a way that's utterly complete.

This man is a stone cold sociopath - incapable of any connection to others. There's no way he can feel any real emotions - he only understands calculations - cost vs benefit. If we could cure or even just treat the narcissistic part of their personalities better we could prevent a lot of these crimes bc a man like this does understand that if he gets caught he won't like the results and wants to avoid that (that's why he did what he did to the bodies - he didn't realize all he did was preserve a mountain of evidence). It's that the normal bonds of emotion won't stop him from doing something this heinous (knowledge that he could lose his freedom or forfeit his life can and does stop them but they have to believe that it's real or they go straight back to the easiest choice for them), His narcissism which usually runs alongside sociopathy made him think he'd outsmart everyone though. He never thought he'd get caught.

And a lot of times it always comes back to that -- it doesn't matter what consequence you put there for it because people like this don't believe they'll ever be caught to pay that price. That's their narcissism.

But this is a man that none of us normal folks (and on this even people like me and Glitch get classified as normal) can really understand normally because we have emotions and feelings and they inform so much of what we do and why we do it. For him, that's not there. We might as well be alien species to one another because the way we think and process the world really is that different. What I'm getting at is that you can't understand a man like this (and thank God you can't) because that means you're not broken in a way that is so total and complete.

I really am not kidding when I say that we might as well be alien species to him. Think about your fandom here and how utterly irrational it is but how much joy it has brought you over the years (and how much pain). Think about how you would move mountains for your family or friends and how good it feels when you can make them smile or laugh. So much of what makes us tick and 99 percent of humans tick are these complex emotions. It's how we understand the world. We use logic sure but it's informed by our hearts.

This man really doesn't have a heart not like we understand them. And it shows us what incomplete beings humans are without them.

He couldn't even take trash pac 12 defenses by storm with all those receivers they had lol
He had a pretty good year in 19’, had 3500 yards and 30 tds to 9 ints. Think he got injured and although I can’t remember what it was, he’s been a shell of himself since. Had an “okay” year in 20’ and a not so good year in 21’.

He’s not Kenny Pickett, but hes no slouch either.
Has really good accuracy but his injury affected his arm strength according to USC fans from what I recall. I watched his highlights from 2020 and he can make the throws. I’m not too worried about the Pitt game, but I wouldn’t be suprised if Slovis shows well.

I cleaned out behind my refridgerator this weekend, and, vacuumed the house.

What'd you do? I bet you're gonna tell me you travelled to some far off place with turquoise water or camped on your own plot somewhere far away from all the @Ulysees E. McGill's, @Weezer's, etc.

Try not to be jell.
Does your wife make you wear a dress, too? She's obviously wearing the pants.

Since I don’t care about conference loyalty and because I will be at Doak Campbell for a game this year, I want FSU. And a good FSU is bad for Florida.
Right now, a bad FSU is good for Tennessee. They have at least 3 commits that we would like to flip.

Morristown and Jefferson City are better areas if you want to do more city things - shopping, going out to eat, watching movies etc. without having to make a big trip of it.

The others are pretty rural. It's been forever since I've been through Greeneville though so it might've gotten a little bigger. But if you are youngish and have a family I'd suggest those two over the others because you can still do country things but you can do them without having to drive 45 mins or an 1hr plus just to go to a mall or watch a movie.

That said, just keep doing your research. Don't rush a big move. But tbh, I'd lean towards Morristown on that list because it's in proximity to everything. Knoxville is close and so is PF/Gatlinburg. And it has the advantage of not being so rural that it's a big deal to go to the store.
I live in Morristown and I love it

Yeah he has a couple other gifs too. His dancing is, uh, interesting haha.

I remember seeing him a long time ago in a gif or dance vid. I think I was looking up buck dancing to show an example to someone who didn't know what it was. I had no idea he was a local or that he'd exploded recently. More power to him. He does something that very few can do these days and he does it really well.

It's the process that's expensive but it's also the process that keeps you and I from being the same as someone like Ted Bundy who killed because he wanted to.
I watched a show depicting a crime from the 1800’s…. The person was100% guilty…. They arrested…. Had the trial and hung the person in the town square all in the same day… That needs to happen to this guy.

I could see your point in California where they never get the needle and die of old age whilst awaiting their legal appeals. But the actual EXECUTION costs way way WAY less than food, upkeep and medical care for life.
