One thing that has changed for Joe is that he is now running over people instead of running out of bounds.I'm looking forward to seeing how he does next season. He looks vastly improved. One flaw he had last season was him looking to throw it deep too often. Hopefully he'll be patient enough to run the offense and take the deep shots when they're there instead of forcing it. I think he will. He's definitely got the overthrows corrected.
I'm gonna go ahead and assume the crowd that evening was a little more pumped for that game than the 1 taking place Saturday.I know this is going to land like a thud but I’m concerned about the beginning of this week’s game. I saw them against T A&M and the crowd noise was a factor!
No doubt we are a much better team with much better coaches but if we have procedure issues it can make matters difficult for us.
My problem with MI and USC is their schedule. USC hasn't beat 1 ranked AP team. Michigan's only ranked win was Penn St.What the committee really wants
#1 Georgia vs #4 USC or TCU or 1 loss ACC champ (if both USC & TCU lose)
#2 Ohio State or Michigan vs #3 Tennessee
If USC is a 1 loss champion and TCU is an undefeated champion then we might be in trouble...otherwise I think the above is the preference
Folks.
Something had to happen for it to slack off the way it has.this is funny but it is a good question and a great point
I have to admit, I've been very surprised with how many teams, especially lesser opponents, haven't laid down to stop our tempo. I was convinced that after the MCB last year that teams would just lay down drive after drive to make us go insane. I wonder if there was something behind the scenes to severely discourage it from happening.
I will happily admit that I was very wrong that teams would do it to us nonstop this year. Kind of surprised at the same time.
