I’ve always wondered what makes cigarettes so detrimental to stamina today… vs. handing out lucky strikes to soldiers from 1917-1975 and seeing little issues with stamina. I guess the fitness level outweighs the cigarettes effect on you, but I still think it’s weird. Most of my military buddies in their 20’s smoke today.

Cincinnati was 13-0 until losing to Alabama in a close game. Should have 11-1 Notre Dame so Alabama could have curb stomped them again.

Used to love visiting that park and area. It’s one of the most impressive minor league stadiums I’ve ever seen. Neither me or my wife are baseball fans but we’d go see a few games a year just because it is such a cool venue.

Yeah, at the time I put a lot more blame on Hurd. Now with what came to transpire about Butch and with Kirkland's interview about Butch and then some conversations I've had with players that were there during that time. I realize that Butch was a big problem and as much to blame for his poor locker room culture as anyone else.

I'm thinking about it. We've got to go to Savannah Thursday and leaving Friday morning. Thinking about staying an extra day in Savannah and then making a pit stop in Columbia on Saturday. The hotels there look every bit as underwhelming as every description I've ever heard of the city (armpit of America, 8th wonder of the world-only hole above ground, etc.).
