USC is about to play UCLA and Norte Dame. If they beat both and then win the pac 12, they will be in. If Clemson wins out and then beats an 11-1 NC in the ACC championship, who knows what the committee would do there, tho they wouldn’t deserve it.

at the very least we need TCU to lose because Michigan and TCU would then drop out. So even if USC is in, we will be too
UCLA and Notre Dame do not equal Alabama and LSU in the rainkings. That would be grossly unfair especially when our only loss is the number one team at home. They were pumping up Oregon until they lost last week. If we win, I just don't think USC can jump us. (I hope I am right, anyway)

The fix is in. Michigan's athletic director is a member of the CFP committee.
That’s ridiculous! Make the committee up with ex-coaches who know football, and that have no affiliation to teams in the top 20. You can’t tell me there isn’t bias when people that are directly affiliated with a program are on the committee.

The only thing that worries me is LSU somehow winning the SEC title game but I think UGA beats them by 2-3 scores.

USC isn’t going undefeated.

Clemson is still below Alabama. Tells you again all you need to know regarding their thoughts of Clemson
Does Georgia lay an egg on purpose, since they know they would be in no matter what, in order to hopefully keep us out?? Conspiracy theories and all…

2016 - Big10 Champion and 2-loss Penn State got left at #5. The Big10 was considered the toughest conference that year. Not only that, but they beat #2 Ohio State head-to-head. Ohio State didn't win their division or conference and had 1 loss, but they had the best resume in the country with huge wins over multiple top-ranked teams like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Oklahoma.

Penn State's setback was getting obliterated by Michigan early in the season and losing to Pitt in a nonconference matchup.

The 2016 situation is not too dissimilar than if LSU won the championship game and got left out. Nonconference loss to a solid team (FSU) and getting obliterated by a top team (Tennessee). And Tennessee has the best resume in the country hands down - just like Ohio State did.

But LSU ain't gonna win. And Tennessee's resume should jump the OSU/UM loser. Then if TCU flounders we jump to 3, leaving the 4 spot to a 1-loss Pac12 champ, 1-loss Big12 champ, 1-loss ACC champ, or 1-loss OSU/UM loser.

I see you don't pay no more attention to what's said in here, than you do outside of here.

Do better.
I pay attention…. Just don’t care what the media says…. Positive or negative about us…. There is plenty of positive out there about us by the way….. it’s a great day to be a Vol!

No drama on this end…. Just having fun with @SugarCC bc he called me out when someone said something negative about Tennessee…. I really don’t think it’s a big deal what the media says one way or the other…. Just dominate these last two and we will be in.
the committee brother, have to create drama.

Total mayhem, to the highest order

I don't think so-- They want the number one spot uncontested.
UGA won’t lay an egg because #1 gets to pick their preferred site for the semifinal matchup. UGA would obviously want Atlanta over Glendale Arizona

Yeah, I was hoping we could beat Georgia and get to play in Atlanta if we are in the playoff, because I live 45 minutes from there. Would’ve been an easy game to go to for me.
