we have been fairly equal historically with some runs.... but what a place to cut it off, before 2000, when they stormed the field for beating us, we had won 9 in a row
Need some info..................
Saturday will be my first time going to Tuscaloosa. Need to where to eat and hang out before the game.
I might be going with a former Bama player, but if not.......I need some info. Thanks!

I tend to agree with you. BUT…just thinking absolute worst case for us is if TCU stays undefeated (which I think they’ll lose to K. State) and USC runs the table the rest of the way (which I seriously doubt). I think the remaining schedule for USC is pretty stout (when compared to what we’ve ended the season with) and I think the committee would probably leap them over us. Running the table to end the season against 3 top 20 teams would be held higher than us beating a few cupcakes “in style” in their eyes. Also, I think avoiding 2 SEC teams would ultimately be their preference and getting a national name from out West like USC (who would finish with a seemingly decent SOS) would be the perfect storm for them to drop us out. Again, all IMHO.We’re in if we win out. They are trying to create drama and keep people guessing. They can’t come out and say we’re about to put two SEC teams in again. That would piss off every other conference. But it’s going to happen. We have the best resume out of anyone to make the playoff once OSU/Michigan lose their game. This is all for suspense. We’re getting in. Just handle our business.
He’s just worried. We all felt the same after Georgia made it Kirby’s second year. We didn’t want to be In the latter years of a saban dynasty just to watch Georgia pick it up. Now Georgia is watching us do this with pretty much half the roster talent. When we start rolling with deep talent it’s going to be a spectacle. Georgia doesn’t want us giving Huepel actual hardware to sell recruits. We felt the same about KirbyPollack goes home each night and watches Leonard Little with his wife.
Yes...but it's not his fault, imo that is on Hooker, and it is not really his fault either...it is just a mental thing that is understandable. He was an awesome security blanket last year, but Hendon locks in on him now too much and it does screw up the system we got going on.
I do think it could change with practice and slowly working him back into the rotation.
I just can not believe that he would sit out a chance to at least contribute to a NC run...that boggles my mind..
Good for you.
Edit..I'm serious...that is awesome, I wish I had not ground myself to dust. My spirit is willing like yours, but my flesh is weak.

That just means OSU will never get in, no matter their record. That’s ridiculous! Make the committee up with ex-coaches who know football, and that have no affiliation to teams in the top 20. You can’t tell me there isn’t bias when people that are directly affiliated with a program are on the committee.

I’d like to ask everyone that would to pray for my stepdad, my dad passed when I was 9 months old so he’s been my dad my entire life. They have found a mass on or around his bladder. We are waiting for an appointment in Vanderbilt so they can get a biopsy done. It’s so hard to have any peace in this life anymore. TIA
I don’t think so. Have you looked at USC’s defensive rankings. They would get smashed in the playoff. When you compare our one loss to number one Georgia and they lost to Utah who lost to Florida. Plus our offense ranks higher and our defense. Pretty easy pick. To me, it’s all about creating suspense and making others feel like they have a chance. I don’t think anyone really does and their is a reasons we are five. They can just put us right back in when someone inevitably loses.I tend to agree with you. Aside from the above happening I think we’re in.
