If I was on the roster as a WR at UT I'd just wait before doing anything...

Tillman, Hyatt, Keyton and even still Bru could all be gone. All 4 of them should see what the scouts say about draft projections and all of them should go through pro day/combine if they can (not sure how far into the process they are allowed to go before losing the ability to return).

And I actually think we may be less likely to take a WR in the portal this offseason even if all those guys left. Walker, Holiday, & White all have better stats this year than any WR outside the top 4 did last year with 2 games still to play. Also them having rapport with Milton already will be big for success next season.

Calloway I figure is gone too. So it'll be a pretty wide open competition for starting...even if Bru/Keyton return this season just shows how injury can change things immediately.

We might get some guys calling our staff that possess Hyatt speed (raw) that don't feel like their current team knows how to utilize in their plan.

Facts

These ppl have been shilling hard for a while. That SEC Mike guy has done it since the summer just like all the others. They must be watching something different than the rest of us.

Next season, there are going to be a lot of SC fans calling for Beamer to be fired, and they’re gonna get the Tennessee treatment from the sports media for a few months.

Only 4 spots for losing to an unranked opponent that is absolute trash. Oregon dropped six on a very close game to a team now ranked in the top 20.

The problem is we seem to be hellbent on only playing three guys at a time. Maybe that changes in the future, but if you're Walker Merill and don't find yourself in the top 3 next year he may wanna leave.

The tempo necessitates keeping the same personnel on the field for entire drives and doesn’t lend to rotation. If Davis and Echols ball out at TE in future seasons, that cuts into the numbers further.

I could see him looking at the examples of Tillman, Hyatt and Keyton…especially the last two. Keep plugging and when your chance arrives? It comes in spades!

This year is his first full recruiting class and I'll say we finish 11-12th unless we get another big time player other than Hobbs. Nonetheless, good first class.

I'd say after our finish this year, we go 8-4/9-3 next season, our 24 recruiting class will be around the 7-10 range. I think 25 will also be around the 7-10 range. We could pull a top 5 next year, but I'll have to see it to believe it first.

But again, I'm excited either way.

Here is how Hyatt currently stacks up, with 2 games left:
10 games, 58 receptions (probably on pace with Coleman, Washington, Jeudy), 1116 yards (1300+ will do fine), 15 TDs (20 is probably the magic number)


vs current media favorite Marvin Harrison Jr
10 games (he will get 1 more game than Hyatt if he goes to their conf champ), 60 receptions (negligible), 969 yards, 11 TDs

Yeah, luckily I don’t see that 1600-1800 yard receiver like some of those years so Hyatt getting to say 1300-1400 should be enough, especially if he stays ahead in TDs too.

Our tempo requires us to limit subbing to keep the defense we want on the field and we like having a RB and TE on the field.

Still confused...all I originally said was the CFP punishes at least 3 spots for losses. UCLA dropped 4, Oregon dropped 6. Both of those are at least 3 spots. I don't know why Oregon got punished MORE than UCLA, I'm sure it does have something to do with that USC game though.

I am still largely not following much of what you are wailing about. However, I do love being exposed .... conspiracy solved - I opined about what I recalled from a game last season - I glanced at it again and offered an updated/modified opinion. This apparently didn't help you any -
so for the sake of clarity - what precisely am I not using facts about? How is this even a thing on a UT fans online site? Are you the " correctly using facts in your analysis " Nazi? Yeah that's why we like to keep just three on the field but, we could still very easily sub in more WR's.
