I thought about tagging @engineerVOL , but figured he wrote the script for these,@engineerVOL , Tony, working his magic there.
He plays for OSU. His name is Marvin Harrison. That’s all the needMarvin Harrison Jr has had a strong year but his numbers don’t match Hyatt. If Hyatt keeps producing like he should then I don’t see him catching Hyatt.
He’s ~200 yards less than Hyatt.
He has 4 less TDs.
His yards per reception is a full 3 yards less.
He averaging 15 yards less per game.
He has about the same amount of catches.. 2 more than Hyatt.
If these gaps in stats stay about the same and Marvin Harrison Jr wins, then he would be winning on last name alone.
Seems like money talks louder than everything else in this world.Put yourself in that position. Would you make a lateral move to aTm to work with Jimbo who may not last more than one more year or keep the same role at a red hot UT program where this staff and head coach can do no wrong? They'll all get paid, but consider the difference in perception and work environment. Nah. Ain't happening.
DoneI’d like to ask everyone that would to pray for my stepdad, my dad passed when I was 9 months old so he’s been my dad my entire life. They have found a mass on or around his bladder. We are waiting for an appointment in Vanderbilt so they can get a biopsy done. It’s so hard to have any peace in this life anymore. TIA
Ready to see the finalists released. Obviously Hyatt will make it. Marvin Harrison Jr is the media darling.
I’ve never seen a guy who the media wants to see succeed more than Shane Beamer.
That “Shane Beamer Coaching DNA” graphic might be the most shameless thing I’ve ever seen on an ESPN broadcast. And there’s a lot of competition for that honor.
This certainly proves the Michigan bias in these things. Look at Suh's stats (FROM DT!) compared to Hutchinson. Suh was the most dominant player in my lifetime that I have seen. He made that crappy Nebraska defense really good almost single handedly. I also thought Mathieu was better than Woodson or Peppers ever were.View attachment 514934

Teo and Hutchinson got the closest
For those concerned:
I ran simulations for the top ten teams' next 2 games, and assumed the expected team would win all games...
Tennessee will finish the season with a Strength of Schedule around 16th best (currently 4th). No one in the top ten is close:

Mathieu was a TRUE game changer on every play on defense and special teams. Way, way better than Peppers. Not as great of a corner as Woodson (duh), but he'd just run up and rip the ball out like the ball didn't want the other player carrying it anyway. This certainly proves the Michigan bias in these things.
