Haha. Someone told they came around a curve in the road the other day, and there stood a big beautiful buck. On the side of the road we’re several parked cars where hunters left them to go hunt in the woods.

Happened to my wife and I on Porterfield Gap Road in Sevier County a week ago. Big, young beautiful buck standing by the road. Saw us coming and dashed across right in front of us. We have a bunch of them in the Shiloh area, nuisances much of the year.

Yet, guys around here head out of the area to get theirs. My SIL drives to Monroe County to go shoot a skinny thing when the real deal is in his backyard.

@Weezer

just cleared his calendar.

That narrative started to get pushed later in the week and I forget who was taking about it, but they brought it up in terms of it NOT being discussed during any of the CFP scenarios, as that precedent has already been set.

Also, I think the committee is only putting TCU ahead of us because they're undefeated, and if Michigan loses they'd maybe have no issue in replacing them with us at 3. I don't think it's a given that a Michigan loss just moves TCU and Tennessee up 1 spot.

I also like the fact that the conversation about OSU being a lock is being debated. OSU is a notre dame loss away from having as bad a schedule as Michigan.

I've been telling people all week I'll be almost shocked if we're not in when it's all said and done, assuming we win out that is😉

TCU is definitely only ahead of us because they are undefeated, and I agree about OSU, the loser of that Mich/OSU game is out. They just won’t have the resume.

😂 They must be going to enjoy the scenery.

I gotta ask, where are you hunting where a fawn still has spots this time of year? Your rut isn’t starting for another month or two…
Southern Mississippi. Our season is 2 months long. Rut generally doesn’t start until December around here. This that little guy was born late. Seen him on my cam for 3 months now.
