Did he make the draft picks, or did Mike Mayock make the draft picks? Doesn't the GM normally make the picks? I know coaches have input, but unless they're also the GM, they don't usually make the pick.

Mayock has his fingers all over those picks, but if I recall correctly, Gruden had final approval as "football czar".

If you go back and watch his limited playing time with an even minded approach, it’s not nearly as bad as you think right now. His deep ball misses we’re certainly egregious, but otherwise, he wasn’t nearly as bad as you’re thinking…at least from my review.

I have and it didn't change ny mind, if anything it made it worse. He missed seeing wide open guys all over the place..it wasn't just the guys he did see and missed.

Cheagle rides come from having enough ignored notifications. I currently have nearly 48k ignored notifications, so I get a personal cheagle, saddle from the leather of baby unicorns (don't worry, @frank's got plenty more), and a private suite at @frank's estate whenever I need a place to crash after one of his infamous BBQ's.

So what about the other teams like Pitt, Florida and LSU with less proven players and similarly thin rosters (we are actually pretty close to 85 scholarships)? We will have extremely costly injuries and they won't? Is that what you're banking on? Terrible things will happen? We won't improve and everyone else we play will?

We will see..we can win 10, but I think in the end 7-5 is more probable.

We will see who is a toxic sob at the end if the year when those high expectations are not met satisfactorily.

This is a big part of my expectations, not only do injuries play in the out come. But how many do the refs still ? They most likely stole 2 games last year, Pitt and the mustard game. This shouldn't be happening with replay.

Yep...until it changes, you have to figure in not being a "favored" team. It is obvious that there has been an agenda to keep us down for a looooong time.

Historically a good Tennessee is bad for Bama...and the league office is Bama sycophants.

It sounds like you don't even want to fire up the coaching search machine. If we don't set our expectations insanely high, we won't be able to be let down. Then we can't blame the coaches and demand they be fired. We will never get back on the coaching carousel with you attitude.

I don’t understand when people brag about not putting people on ignore. Especially if you ignore their posts anyway. Occasionally go to Twitter, Instagram and FF to look for those of I have time.

FF is over 90% ********. There are very little redeeming qualities. Of course I avoid things that are over 90% ********. What’s the point in reading the FF when you have to scroll past 90% of the posts anyways? Even if I ignore them, I still have to scroll past them. I probably would use it more if it wiped out the post entirely and I never saw the empty posts or whatever they look like but that’s not possible unfortunately.

The game day thread and RF in general, is pretty good. Still some occasional trollers and what not but you can scroll right past them. After losses it can get more touchy in here for sure, I’ll admit that, but that is why I hangout here. Scrolling past one trolling poster is easy. Scrolling past 90% of a thread is well, pointless.

But yes, I’m not getting any work done either. Thursday can’t come soon enough.

By definition, VN is also categorized as social media. Social media overall isn’t bad. Just some types of it are more toxic than others. Just have to choose which ones you like.

The empty posts only happen when someone is replying to an ignored person, I think. Otherwise you just don't see their comment.
