Just today, the Raiders cut another one his first round picks and fire sold a second rounder he drafted for a conditional sixth pick. On top of his seemingly atrocious eye for talent, we're blessed that all his controversial emails didn't have University of Tennessee letterhead plastered all over them.

Idk.. I just ignore the negative or toxic posters and enjoy talking about what I’m seeing with other posters. Lots of strategy talk and X and Os that I love to engage with and learn about. It’s better to hear those things while watching so then I can watch and see if I recognize it. If posters can’t ignore the toxic people and get annoyed or triggered then that’s on them and they probably should avoid the game threads

I also feel this way about putting posters on ignore. I won’t hate on anyone that decides to use the ignore feature, they can do whatever they would like to for their VolNation experience, but for me I am perfectly fine with just scrolling past toxic or dumb posters.. doesn’t impact me. I will say though I won’t ever go into a FF gameday thread…THAT is toxic with no redeeming qualities.

Just my two cents.

Edit: also, just in terms of social media, I agree. I stay off Twitter or anywhere else besides VN game thread until the end.

Twitter on gameday used to be one of my favorite things about the game. It's fun when we are winning big, not fun when its close or we are losing. VN is kinda the same. I just try to avoid it altogether and enjoy it with who I'm with now.

Cant wait till the new game just comes out so I don't have to bother with it anymore, the roster updates are definitely hard to install

The whole process is difficult. My game kept getting stuck on Building SPU cache, so I eventually just gave up lol. If they screw up the new NCAA which I’m praying doesn’t happen( madden developers are in charge) I’ll give it a shot in the future and probably just pay someone to install it for me.
I swear I spent over 24 hours trying to get it to work

Did he make the draft picks, or did Mike Mayock make the draft picks? Doesn't the GM normally make the picks? I know coaches have input, but unless they're also the GM, they don't usually make the pick.

Year 2 doesn't mean much to me because of who we have coming back on offense. My biggest concerns are pretty simple and not new.

Defense. I think it has a chance to be better... Maybe a lot better. But several unproven players will need to step up. While depth I think is better, I can't say yet, that the quality of the depth is great. So how does that play out?

RB depth is the other concern.

I'm excited. I really really really want to get out of September 4/0. Head to baton rouge with a shot at 5-0 with Bama coming to town...

I think most know that. But I don't expect to lose key guys before the season starts. I mean if hooker or the defensive ends or banks, tilmam... Guys like that were not on this team, I think most would have different expectations.
But we do right now so no need to adjust.

It is going to happen...we will lose players...it always happens.

Why no mention of OL being key?...hell every position on this team is thin.
