Wow. . . spread is only -7.5 @ -105 odds for Virginia Tech over Old Dominion. First half has VT -4.

I'm not sure what to think about this. Is VT that bad? Is ODU that good? I figure VT will beat them by 20. . . .

Looks like Draft Kings isn't opening lines for Tennessee qtr totals and a couple other bets. They have those lines open for other games, but not UT. . .

Big rebuild for the Hokies after firing Fuente. Old Dominion isn't terrible. Went bowling last year. Won 5 straight to end the season with wins over MTSU, FAU, and La Tech. Lost to Tulsa in bowl game.

Also playing in Norfolk.

It’s acceptable. It’s not success. Means we aren’t actually better. Probably got a Pitt who lost a lot and that’s the only difference from last year.

Who pissed in your cereal? Get outta here with so much negativity. 8 wins in year 2 would’ve had everyone dancing if they were told that before last year started. 8-4 would be great.

Heading down to Florida Thursday morning----got a great golf vacation planned at Innisbrook Resort and I'm gonna rep the Power T while I'm down there. I'm looking forward to playing all four courses at the resort.

Island Course
Copperhead Course
North Course
South Course

Plans are to play the Copperhead course twice. I checked the weather for the Tampa area and it looks like it may rain everyday we're there but I'll just deal with it :):). See ya on the flip side

I live in Tampa. It normally rains everyday lately between 4-7pm but only last normally about 30 minutes. Just typical summer showers and normally blows over quick. It cools things down. Hope that helps

Isn't it her "best friend"? Without looking back, iirc she was from Knoxville.

The only social media scam doc I found more appalling last year was The Tindler Swindler.

Why are people so quick to believe some person could be rich...when they're asking you for money 😂 yeah because ultra rich people need to "just move some money around" 😒

About like investment scams. People are so gullible when it comes to someone acting with confidence and the slightest hint of charisma.

Friend or best friend, idk. I didn't really follow the story beyond seeing the headlines so I only have a really generalized idea of what happened. The article I read described the woman who is suing as Anna's friend.

But I mean grifting and just money being bandied about like water is pretty common in ultra wealthy circles. If you can get into them you'll find yourself collecting money without trying. F. Scott Fitzgerald talked about it when he discussed the roaring 20s and how he made and lost a fortune IRL (not just the Great Gatsby :D). Even if you had nothing when you were brought in, just being in those circles money would find you because that was the world they occupied. It was hard not to find yourself with wealth because of the various ways people spent and reinvested with friends or even provided the entire startup costs for something just to see a friend succeed.

I think Anna's problem was that she was trying get things from people that were as much on the margins as she was. The people just a step outside but who were otherwise fairly well connected but nonetheless people who might be well of enough to float you a serious loan but who also couldn't afford to forget about a large debt.

The friend/bf from Knoxville was just someone with the right job but definitely not the coin.
