I still can’t get out of my head the trend post from yesterday. It put a little damper on things for me. I hope it is completely inaccurate!! We do not need to take even a small step back with what we have on this roster. We should be taking a gigantic leap forward.

Trends are great for identifying areas where you need to focus attention and identify opportunities for improvement. They only keep trending the same direction if you don't do anything or if what you do is not effective. I think we need start Heup's baseline for his time here as there are a great many variables that are different. Further, I think he and the staff have identified plenty of opportunities for improvement as evidenced by going 7-6 the year after we went 3-7. Those upward trends will start to become evident this year, IMO.

Football needs to separate from the NCAA and traditional conference setup. I fear the impending realignments are going to severely hurt other sports. Not as big a deal in the SEC because our member schools don't have as many sports/Olympic sports. And if there was a way to disqualify football from the Title IX scholarship rule that would be good for all sports imo.

O. M. G. I’m in an SEC smack talk group on FB and the KY guy is relentless.. (and the meanest out of all of them lol)..he badgers the crap out of me lol.. they hate us so much and they are so out of touch, it is comical lol.. he got mad at something students did at a game..he got mad at the band lol so funny

I'm in several as well. SEC Smack is the one I post in quite a bit and like to rile up the Dawg Fans.

Well, according to Mark Stoops they are either suspended or unavailable to play for an indeterminate number of games, which is yet to be determined, based upon the opponent being the primary determining factor.
