I’m just shocked that this could include John Calipari’s program. I’m also shocked that Matt Jones doesn’t want to report it on KSR. Shocked I tell you.

Death, taxes, and…

That probably means that most of their starters are ineligible (in football and in BB). Sounds like lack of institutional control, just with the horse farms. And embezzlement of government healthcare funds is no joke. People do federal time for that.

We need to keep blowing the CRod situation up on twitter so it doesn’t die down and just go away once the craziness of the season gets here. I’m sure that’s what stoops is going for
I don't think you understand what @ChattaTNVol just posted. A DUI would likely be a longed-for distraction for KY.

From the Kentucky forum on rivals:

It sounds like Kentucky has been paying players, but on this subject the NCAA has no firm ground on which to stand anymore. NIL is not pay for "Name, Image, Likeness", it's pay for play, or pay for signing, or pay for transfer, or pay for foregoing an early exit to the NFL, or pay for walking on and playing on the scout team. Under the current system, NIL money is virtually impossible to trace or regulate, so it can come from any dark corner and be distributed according to the desires of whomever controls it.

Until some authorized governing body cites a single rule that forcefully applies to paying college athletes, and draws a bright line that separates it from all the other ways of paying college athletes, I don't see why any school should punish any player for receiving money from any source unless they've been charged with a crime. If Federal or state laws were possibly broken, that's a matter for law enforcement, but not the NCAA until proven otherwise.

Thanks for updating us on Kirby's story.

That's my opinion, has nothing to do with UGA, or Kirby Smart, or any team or person in particular. The money flow is currently completely unregulated, IMO.
Your OPINION doesn't waive the criminal nature of diverting federal money allocated to a state hospital.

Trey Smith narrating. "It means Heupel leading the charge..."
Love it. And Love it.

I can't get any more pumped up or I want sleep a wink tonight.

I don't know why but Straw Plains has always felt more in the middle of nowhere than places that are farther out from Knoxville. I guess because it straddles a lot of areas and the Jeff-Knox County side just seems endless. It's not a bad area at all tho.
I’m from out there and would like to purchase a home there, but I have no money and there is not a gym for miles and miles

I somehow scratched my cornea (probs during a recent kitchen scramble 🔪 ) and am on an antibiotic and some pain killers. Hurts like a son of a gun, and I can’t hardly see but I’ll be there in Neyland. I have two eyes anyway, only need one to see Hendo launch the spheroid into the cheggarboards.
Orange eyepatch. Orange bandana headcover. Stuffed parrot attached at the shoulder. Hook. You've got this.

Guy at work today was taking about an incident that lead to a black bear ODing on pounds of cocaine in the smokey mountains years ago and a body turning up in the driveway of a home in Knoxville. I looked it up and it’s a wild story… they’re actually releasing a movie about it next year. It’s called Cocaine Bear.
I read about that a few moths ago. Pablo Escobear 😂

I covered that at the end of my rant. If a felony has been committed by the players themselves, they should be punished. But, what if they've been paid by someone who broke the law? I'm not sure the players have done anything wrong. And I'm not sure the NCAA has any enforcement authority over that.

So if they got paid with drug money there would be no repercussions? If it’s ill-gotten money they received by complicit fraud they’ll have to answer.
