Technically, but since Michigan is undefeated, I was giving them a shot.

I say we do a F4 of 1) Georgia, 2) Michigan, 3) Tennessee, and 4) LSU or Bama. Selfishly, I'd put Bama at 4 so we could beat them again after whipping Michigan....

Getting really tired of people thinking we can't beat anyone with Hooker out. Milton will be fine. As long as defense plays like they did in every game BUT SCar, we'll be fine. Losing Hooker sucks, but our team doesn't fold because a player is hurt. We still handily beat Vandy. A Vandy team that pulled some big upsets. This team is still capable of handing out smackdowns.

Now, in no way am I advocating showing Banks the door...we HAVE TO get better players, period...
However, Arnett was, is, will be my first pick for our DC...even before Banks' name was ever mentioned. He has proof all the way back to '18, '19 at San Diego State. His Ds are good, and they keep getting better.

But, I will agree, MV...at the end of the day, all that matters is how many you're allowing on the scoreboard, numero uno factor...however, that doesn't mean we just throw away the other important numbers, and ignore other factors.

Absolutely other factors to be taken into account.

One that I feel plays strongly in Banks’s favor in the comparison between the 2 is that our offense runs a fast break every possession. The defense is constantly being trotted right back out there after like 1.5 mins of game time. And yet they still managed to keep points off the board (for the most part, definitely not always).

I like Arnett too. So I went looking for reasons why I liked him and thought he would be this huge upgrade that everyone said he was. And the numbers weren’t doing it for me. Consistency maybe. I can see that being a point for Arnett. But there are games I really question his rush defense, just like I question our pass defense.

Pass ypg I get it. My only point on that is teams gave up on the run early and tried to keep pace. That put a spotlight on our weak secondary yet the defense was able to keep big points off the board (for the most part).

And we get nothing out of it. Nothing will be done to correct it. Unless you missed this week's news, we're like two years away from an expanded playoff. No one will care about the committee screwing us.

We folded without Banks and Joe Milton isn’t there as a passer or runner

But they will know. We’re screwed regardless so it doesn’t effect us except maybe open up a sugar bowl spot. USC opened up the orange, so our bowl options get better with TCU and SC losing
