It’s fine, but conference winners aren’t automatically granted the top 32 seeds. By that policy, then the winner of the SWAC would be given a top seed.

Especially in a very limited field.

Wasn’t a LIE about us necessarily. Just a regrettable quote. Did he say anything similar when he took over Jackson State? What gets defined as CRAZY isn’t an internal thought, it’s what opposing recruiters pull up on Twitter. Neon Deion needs to learn some coachspeak cliches. They’re your buddy when Washington State runs you in year 1-2.

With 12 teams getting in…. I would rather keep the Bama game…. Wouldn’t trade this years Bama game for anything in the world.

What about the 15 losses before it?..do you treasure those experiences also?...I sure as hell don't.

will be interesting t watch. i lived in Boulder 2011 - 2015... i think Primetime is a fit culturally to an extent. Part of town doesnt care.. is into biking/skiing/climbing etc.. then you have the students and fans who are, you might say, generally more aligned with Deion's worldview. I did not love it there and moved to Tallahassee afterward, but i hope he does well and raises hell in the Pac 12.

He shouldn't walk it back....what he said was the truth whether we like it or not. A bunch of our defensive players were not very engaged in that game.

He would very better off to just say we were a great team that got ambushed because of our own complacency. It wasn't just because SC played their best, it was because we did not come to play....and thus we got our butts whupped thanks to showing up with our head up our own butt.

I'm not saying Deion will do bad, but recruits aren't going to choose between Deion and Kirby, or Colorado and Georgia, recruits are going to choose the fat NIL deal. Playing for Deion might be "cool" but getting paid is "really cool".

Deion may actually be the right kind of HC for this era of portal hopping & NIL. He treats it like a business, like the NFL and unlike Gump he’s got the receipts to say “I’ve done it.”

He’ll be able to get them to 8-10 wins a year, good players and motivated talent in the PAC-12 will have no trouble winning that many. But the Xs & Os, play calling, culture, & staff around you is what separates those good teams winning 8 to 10 games from the elite teams that win 12 and make the CFP.

It’s a smart move for his career, a P5 conference and a location without absurd expectations. But still a team that if he wins there he can make the playoffs.

I will say this, met Prime a couple times and the man has drive, I’ll def give him that. Pretty down to Earth too. But I can see where his approach may rub some the wrong way as well.

If he can turn around one of the worse football programs in the last 20 years, it will be a hell of an accomplishment. If he can just get them to a winning record, BIG schools will come calling. Now, does he stay and build something there??? That’s the question.

Colorado is a beautiful place, there is a lil bit of a recruiting hot bed with Utah, AZ, and other mid west states pretty close. First thing on the agenda has to be the willingness of the Administration to work with Prime. If he gets them, it could be a good thing. If not, well you know where that typically goes.

So good luck Prime, gonna be fun watching you the next few years and for me, I’ll be pulling for you to succeed.

Why don’t you take your version of the Vols and join the MAC…. That way you can get the warm fuzzies from many victories…. My version of the Vols is not afraid of anyone and want to play the better teams…. It’s true we did lose to Bama for 15 straight years but we also were losing to Vandy, Georgia State, and many other losing programs…. Playing Bama didn’t hold us back… we held ourselves back.

Prime is fun but that conference is upgrading and wont be easy for him at all. Ceiling is probably 8 wins for him but that's probably enough to get him a better job in 5 years.
