The whole Deion speech the almost 8 minute one to Colorado is as a good one. The shortened version makes it sound terrible. He basically told the Colorado football team they better start sacrificing things to be better players or they aren’t going to play and if they didn’t want to do those things they needed to hit the portal. That some of those kids don’t actually want to be there and are basically spoiled.

I can respect that.

Worked there for 12 years, was a fantastic employee, and let go for no other reason than the narcissistic pastor who has taken over both the church and school didn’t like us. It was a personal vendetta and they did it on the same day they moved into our neighborhood to beat it all.

Pray for us, because I don’t want to allow bitterness or hatred to creep in.

See, it's sh!t like this that brought me to the conclusion that the whole religion/church thing is a sham. They are nothing but businesses. When I deal with "church" people, I end seeing the rudist, most bigoted, most self-centered, and hateful type of people. And for your own sake, I don't want you to feel that you putting this request out ended up with someone stumbling in their walk, I felt the way I do well before your post above. Your post (and all the other crap you see out of churches and church people) just triggers an anger (or bitterness/hatred is what you might call it) in me.

All religions have always been this way since the beginning of time. There are always disingenuous entities and people who use people's genuine faith to gain money and power. That doesn't make the religion illegitimate (especially since most directly condemn those kinds of bad actors), but I can definitely see that as the main reason people leave religion. Not to get too philosophical, but the fact that the bad eggs are able to succeed so often actually proves the authenticity of the faith of the people being taken advantage of (and often it also proves their gullibility haha).
