Basilio saying the QB was Spencer Sanders who reached out to us for a spot. Doesn’t think the coaches believe he’s quite the right talent for us right now.

He's put up big numbers in-spite of some bad playcalling/ OL play but I'm not sure he's a SEC level player. Has one of the more awkward throwing motions in CFB. I'd have to imagine Joe would have to be pretty bad in the Orange bowl to take him and even then - there's probably better options.

Milton is frustrating and I don’t expect him to “Hendo” this offense to the next level, but you have to be some kind of sad malcontent too wish his failure upon us for some type of spite-filled personal accolade.
It’s LittleVol…. That’s all he does… I’m not sure about how Joe will play but will Watch with an open mind.

Milton is the starting QB, so I'm not going to do anything but hope for him to be successful.

He's another high character guy too that was willing to stay here as a backup rather than hop in the portal again. He won't throw near 70% completion like Hooker did though, just isn't going to happen. Hooker has never been inaccurate it wasn't something Heupel "fixed" or anything.

Hendo had at least 1 passing attempt in 41 games in his career, and in that time he failed to hit at 60% only 10 times. 31 games throwing at 60% or better with a career total of 12 INTs.

Dobbs threw in 37 games and had 18 games where he failed to reach 60%
Bray threw in 28 games and had 16 games where he failed to reach 60%

I'm hoping Milton is able to be a more accurate Tyler Bray for us. If he can do that without generating a ton more turnovers then we'll be winning a lot of games.

We won 56-0 in a downpour with wind gusts.

And he actually slightly under threw his first deep ball.

I can’t wait to watch him run this offense next year. I think his time watching Hooker, and his attitude throughout, should be enough to set him up as a great leader next year. Maybe I’m wrong, but he seems like a guy the other players respect.
If someone knows differently though, please god, don’t bring that info here.

Titans fire JRob
Idk how to feel about it. He certainly wasn’t perfect by any stretch but Titans have been consistent enough to be “good” and that usually doesn’t happen in the NFL unless you have a top notch Quarterback. On the other hand you could look and say Vrabel has been the key to winning and over producing with what he’s had to work with

Basilio spoke similarly. Said we’re waiting to see how the bowl and Spring practice goes then may seek a QB in the portal if needed.

He is well liked on the team and a great teammate…. He is like Hendon…. Really hope he succeeds.

That's the point I think...Robinson has proven to be terrible at identifying QB talent.

2018 draft he took Luke Falk
2020 draft he took Cole McDonald
2022 draft he took Malik Willis

He's also missed on quite a few 1st round picks, some still haven't played a full season. I think Vrabel's success kept him employed a bit longer than he should have been.

I tend to agree with you… but I still keep in mind the incompetence of previous GMs in Nashville. I think that’s just why Idk really. Although Vrabel has over performed his roster the last 2-3 seasons.

That's great. Now show his deep passes in the ONE game he played this year where the pressure was actually on him to win. Go watch the Vandy game.
What Vandy game are you referencing where Milton faced any pressure? Wasn't this year, that's for sure.

I hope CJH has learned his lesson this season.
Next year leave Joe or whoever is QB1 in the whole game. Set an NCAA single season record for yards and touchdowns!!
See what those blowhards at ESPN/Heisman voters say then🤬
