The FCS? Hasn’t ND State won like 9 out of the last 10 national titles or something? Now there’s parity and an exciting product.

If "parity" means a contrived outcome determined before the season? Not done with politics...purely on the field. They have no unfair advantages ceptin they got their **** together. I live in Frisco and that fanbase invades every year. It's kind of exciting. James Madison upped their game and they're in the discussion every year. They don't need ESPN to stump for them or anything.

Dang, I’m embarrassed for Oregon. We didn’t even play this badly against Georgia last year.

We were waaaaay more competitive.

Agreed. And we'd of benefited multiple years under this playoff format... Without ever playing a down in an sec title game. So how important would that reg season game with Florida have been in the end in 93,95,96,97,99,00...we make the playoff all of those years. Maybe get another shot at the gators in the process...

Good for us...sure...and I would have been all for it.

I don't know how you can say it doesn't devalue these kinds of match ups. Used to be loser leave town...now, not so much.

Because you lose a game one too many and you don't get to party. Pressure's ratcheted up even more during the season and definitely in the playoffs.

Miami (OH) is atleast a top 3 team in the MAC this year too.

So now you're at peace with your misunderstanding. Namaste. In those seasons, a team that played in easier conferences could duck a hot team like the Vols. Kind of like recently with only four teams. Better games more excitement.

Been ringing that bell since he played at Auburn. He's always been trash. Fans got false hype because of one lucky pass vs Oregon years ago (despite playing trash all that game and the defense winning the game for them). He's never been good.

I’m with Bass, I’m not completely sold on Georgia. Let’s wait until they hit SEC play thinking they’re like last season. It’s like I said, we looked better against them last year than Oregon. They look horrible.
