Seeing Heupel operate it’s beyond shocking how bad our last 4 head coaches have been.

There's also just a huge gap between the top 3-4 and everyone else.

UGA was a multi TD favorite for a reason.

They've recruited similar to Bama for years now, despite some thinking they'll take some big step back regardless of their talent...it seems naive to think they won't continue to be near the top of teams imo. Just too much raw talent.

Yeah honestly outside of the usual playoff contenders (Bama, OSU, GA, etc) there’s a whole different sport going on for the rest of us. We will probably be able to accurately guess 50-75% of the playoff teams after the day is over today and it’s only week 1

Auburn happened during the BCS. So lean towards NOT "sort of". It was always going to end up this way and I doubt they stop until at least 16. It'll be way better football. The FCS playoffs is a way higher quality product for way less billions than the current joke.

There were seasons that we were top 2 and lost to Florida…and vice versa. Best teams didn’t win the championships after we’d eliminated each other in the SEC. It’s why Roy Kramer took so much heat with the conceptualization of the SEC Championship Game.

Agreed. And we'd of benefited multiple years under this playoff format... Without ever playing a down in an sec title game. So how important would that reg season game with Florida have been in the end in 93,95,96,97,99,00...we make the playoff all of those years. Maybe get another shot at the gators in the process...

Good for us...sure...and I would have been all for it.

I don't know how you can say it doesn't devalue these kinds of match ups. Used to be loser leave town...now, not so much.

I'd hope not. That may have been the best defense in modern history.

But yes their offense is pretty darn efficient. Underrated because their QB isn't flashy or maybe even an nfl guy. But he just has a ton of talent around him, not surprisingly.
