It’s why we heavily pursued him. This broadcasting crew annoyed me with the talk that “FSU ‘found him’” (we offered first…Garner gonna Garner), but broke the tidbit that Verse was drawn to the “brand name”. Gotta overcome that national narrative with WINS using current talent before we can expect to be the overwhelming first choice.

Holy moly, the ESPN crew made Bob Kesling sound awesome.

I don’t typically get mad, yell or scream at the TV, but they would need to hire a new announcing crew if I coulda gotten to them. I have never witnessed a more self-absorbed display of unprofessional television announcers (and the producer and camera crew). It was appalling that we were trying to watch football and they become the food network. Entertainment and Sports Programming Network my arse.


So, could someone please tell me how to listen to Kesling here in Texas? Never thought I would be asking that question.

have good friends that are LSU alums - in fact, like most of us, have friends or family that are fans of a variety of SEC teams. Comments have gone from typical banter to pity over the past decade. I hated the “sympathy” comments worse than the digs. Very happy that started changing last season. Everyone knows what TN fans have been through. Deep down they’re scared it could be their turn.

An opposing QB scrambling for a 1st down. I know this guy doesn't run, but last year, Betty White could've rushed for fiddy on us. Even better was not seeing any gaping holes he could rush through.

But i'm not sure he's a plug and play type guy. Esp if LSU's players are used to untucked shirts and no curfews.

Something tells me that aint gonna fly with him.

Albany was playing other FCS schools which he should play good against…. The one game he played against Syracuse… he didn’t have any sacks that game…. He does have the potential to be a first round pick but right now it’s strictly potential… To me… he looks like he has good burst but needs to learn better moves off the line… That’s my same complaint that I have with young… if either player would watch how TJ Watt approaches rushing the passer… they would be so hard to deal with.

They lost a lot so it’s a pretty hard rebuild that’s going to be easier bc of their recruiting base…. Kelly seems like such an arrogant prick but for whatever reason players always seem to respond to him. The coach in the locker room might be different than the one in the public eye.

Watching the replay and noticed how much they were cutting BY. I wonder if they picked up something on him? It really slowed him way down on several plays.

Coach Garner will see it on the tape and fix it by the time the next victim takes the field.

I just noticed at the end of those highlights, Turnage (#8) was in the game and it looked like he lined up at Safety. That’s odd.
