He was totally galaxy braining himself during that targeting review. Talked himself into the softest way out. Oof.You take 3 TO's into the locker room when you have a chance to at least try to get in FG range? He does realize those TO's don't carry over to the 2H, right?
You are exactly right. The SEC want 1 dominant team from each division. They didn't want those two teams to be the regular cross division opponents. That gave them the best opportunity to get two teams in the playoffs. The SEC is as crooked as the NCAA.It all depends on if they (SEC office) finally decide to stop holding us down for Bama, UGA and UFs sake.
A real Tennessee program is bad for those programs...and the SEC has heavily invested in Bama and UGA...they used to do that for UF before UGA finally grew into the powerhouse they always should have been.
Every decision doesn't have to be right, but your reasoning should always make sense. His explanation was interesting. It reminded me when Butch called a TO on 4th down against maybe McElwain (maybe twice). McElwain changed his mind about punting, and they got the first down. If you coach long enough, you won’t be perfect with your decisions.
