I think not having Tillman will hurt us significantly. I still think we’ll win but it just sets up for a tougher time for the offense.
Yup. I find it shocking that so many are acting like he isn’t a massive loss. He and Hooker are the two guys we absolutely cannot afford to lose.

Half this board has convinced themselves that this will/should be a blowout.
I think we are clearly the better team and this would be a really bad loss, on multiple levels. That said, you could make an argument we (most likely) lost our most important player for this one. I will definitely be much more nervous Saturday if we are playing without CT.

Josh Pate has quickly turned into one of the most likable figures in college football.

100 percent. I don’t listen to his podcasts but do listen to blurbs here and there. I think he’s really good and he stays fair in his analysis. He’s one of the few CFB analysts I would have a beer with.

No, this is NOT a must-win game.

I can't believe we are already laying the foundation to justify criticizing coach for losing this game.

Never mind our history in this game, never mind what he has already accomplished, never mind that we may have an injury problem, never mind that they are a good team whether some want to believe it or not.

Because some have allowed themselves to chaulk this up as a sure win, a blowout even, and want to beat them so badly, if we lose, they're ready to blast away. All because the team doesn't meet their expectation of what should happen.

On the other hand, I'm not surprised at all. Some look for reasons to blast and eagerly wait for the chance to do so. I was hoping it would be different this time.

It’s a must win. Hate to break it to you. Is it a “fire him if he loses?” No obviously not. But it’d be beyond a bad look to lose to this UF team at home under a first year coach when you have one of the best QBs in the country.

If they lose this game…. They deserve criticism…. We are the better team.

Need hooker to use his legs and keep the defense honest…a Mobile QB threat puts a lot on a defense especially if he’s hitting his throws and our line is getting some push.history shows in this series whoever controls the line of scrimmage wins.
Honestly, I'd prefer Hooker sit nice and comfy in the pocket. Want him hit as little as possible. The last thing we need is for him to get injured. Last year was abnormal for us with so few critical injuries. Tillman going down tells me this year is likely to be back to the norm. Protect that QB at all costs.

It appears UF defense is having alignment problems…..they are going to have more to worry about than the noise as Heuple says “crank it up boys”!! I noticed our offense slowed a bit (still put up 63) against Akron. We fixing to go into overdrive.
It'll be quiet for UFs defense.
