Man, that is one thin skinned football coach if I'm understanding this correctly.

Spencer Rattler finally decided to live up to the hype for his last two games and SC having been non-existent on offense all year, we thought we'd be fine leaving Banks at home. Then when we decided to make a comeback Hendon's ACL decided it really needed a rest. A lot of things conspired to make that game that game but it boiled down to a series of unfortunate events and also taking the game for granted.

I think us utterly destroying Mizzou in many ways caused us to overlook SC. Of the two, Mizzou was at that time the better team. There was no reason to think that SC would be tougher given what they'd shown all season long. We went to SC thinking it would be a breeze and it probably would've been had we taken them more seriously.

Very nice tribute to CML. Certainly was a very entertaining and interesting coach. His death has certainly left a somber mood over college football.

A series of unfortunate events describes it perfectly. There could not have been more things go wrong. I admit I was more worried about Vanderbilt after the way SC played against FL.
