Mel Kiper has Levi’s as THE NUMBER FIVE PICK

What a time to be alive
I will never understand the Levis phenomenon...it makes zero sense. If he can get drafted that high after the pathetic performance he has had on the field in college...then Milton should go #1...he has more raw talent than anybody.

Got one for you Nashville area folks...I grew up in SE Tennessee and later spent 7 years in Clarksville while in the Army. For the last 8 years, we've mostly lived near Houston. My wife is from Chattanooga and we've been itching to get back to Tennessee. I've got a solid job opportunity in Brentwood and we're researching where we might want to settle in if it all works out. I don't mind a commute if it means we can get a little more yard and a smaller town feel. I know we wouldn't be buying a place in Brentwood. We've got 3 kids ages 8, 6, 4. My oldest eats, sleeps, and breathes baseball. We're an active family that loves outdoor activities. Obviously schools are important. Any recommendations or advice?

Depends on just how much of a commute you want. If you really don’t mind like 45 min to an hour each way, Murfreesboro would probably fit if you want a yard and smaller town. Other areas that are closer to Nashville/Brentwood that you can still have a nice yard, with not quite as much of a city feel are: Mt Juliet (east of the city), Hendersonville (north of the city) and Spring Hill (south of the city).

Spring Hill would be the shortest commute as that’s south of Franklin and into Brentwood, and Hendersonville or Murfreesboro would probably be the longest. All 3 are outside of the city, smaller feel but still have nice communities, decent schools and lots of outdoor activities. Hendersonville and Mt Juliet are both close to lakes too.

double post. It’s @Glitch fault.

9-3 is my baseline. That’s up from 8-4 at the end of the season. The recruiting class and strong finish in the bowl game have changed my thinking. Toss up games that could yield the 3 losses include Florida, Texas A&M, Bama and Georgia. I think we handle the rest easily. Florida looks like it’s going to stink, but we’ve only won 3 times in Gainesville since the 1970s, so I’ve learned to temper my expectations.
I can't go 9+ until I see how the OL looks next year, and Milton really locks it down with a couple of great performances to start off the year...if..he comes out and plays meh the first 2 games and the OL doesn't play better than average...it will not be an exceptional season.

Teams can get better as the seasons goes. Happens every single yr. mediocre Game 1 and 2 don’t mean that’s how game 9 and 10 will look. That’s what good coaching does.

Hendersonville. Preferably in an area zoned for Beech High School. Good schools and great sports programs. About a 30-40 minute drive to Brentwood depending on traffic.
I work in Brentwood and my wife and I looked at Hendersonville. It was 45 min without traffic between the two. I thought that wasn’t toooo bad so I started looking at Google Maps each morning during rush hour and it was usually an hour plus. I said no thanks haha. I like Hendersonville though. If it weren’t for the commute we would have moved there. Now I never go into the office and it wouldn’t have mattered but already bought a house in Nolensville so too late.

Butch Jones?

It is Matt Jones.

I second the Hendersonville vote! I live in East Nashville right now and I'm probably moving up to Hendersonville soonish.

It's perfectly in the country with all the eminities of the city.

Around Indian lake boulevard you have every type of restaurant, places to shop etc and the lake right there. Doesn't feel far from downtown Nash either.

I used to have to be at work 6:30am and got off at 3pm when I worked in Brentwood. That might be why my commute was always 30-40 minutes. I didn't really think about that aspect. I guess it also matters where in Brentwood you're commuting to as well.

I do like this basketball team. They're very good. And if the can do anything close offensively what they did a few weeks ago to USCe and MSU, we can beat anyone.

I do think that's a big if tho. I trust the defense. I'm not 100% sure I trust the offense in 'have to' situations. Over the course of the next 5 games I think we learn a lot about this team...

I like seeing us in the 1 line. Let's stay there! GBO🍊
This team is a elite+ defensively and average offensively...it is what it is at this point.

I love this team because defense is pure hustle and want to. They will lose to other talented teams when they have a really bad offensive game, but they will wipe the floor with ANYBODY in cbb when they do have really good-great shooting nights.

I believe when we get suckass crooked refs that call ticky-tack 🦬💩 on them when playing defense, it has the weird effect of causing them to play really choked and tentative on offense....we have now seen that happen in three games...if they could learn to not let bad officiating effect them on the offensive end, then I will feel better about the chances of winning a SEC or National title.

Anyone knowingly participating in this small appendage contest, with the data on CTE and potential for chronic issues due to physics, has it coming.
Small appendage contest? You've lost your damn mind...not everyone is a thumb sucking ****y. Those dudes are idiots...but that takes steel cahones.

Ugh. She is the worst. I really feel like the icy frigid union they call their marriage was always 100% for politics and nothing else.
Probably. The previous president's marriage was obviously about money. They're not all old-fashioned love stories. You're going to see some odd couples in that tax bracket.
