The only comparison that needs to be made is to other football leagues and so far it has shown that not wearing a helmet helps limit the amount of concussions per year. They are trying out Rugby style helmets to try to eliminate them further.
I think that's partially the logic behind the argument of scrum caps for football training. Forcing the players to tackle properly and wrap up.Not wearing a helmet and scrum caps aren’t why rugby has less concussions so I’ve never understood the scrum cap debate for football. It had less concussions because of the laws of the game. You aren’t allowed to hit without wrapping in rugby. No throwing a shoulder into a ball carrier, no throwing your body at the feet of a ball carrier, no tackling above the shoulders (they are even looking to eliminate tackling above the torso soon) etc.. you have to hit with your shoulder and wrap your arms. If you don’t follow that, you get a penalty. Do it more than once and you can get a red card and are ejected. Rugby players are taught from the lowest levels of the sport how to tackle and how to protect your head going into a tackle and they practice it year after year, even the pros. This is why they have less concussions.
I actually got one concussion in rugby after 5 seasons. The one time I did, I was wearing a scrum cap. The other 4 years, I didn’t wear one.
5 in .5 is where it's atDefinitely 5 though it is harder to find them in .5 these days and I don't like .7 as much.
1 has been reliable for me. Not enough use with 4 to rank but think I've liked it.
I used to have to do A LOT of hand written notes when I was a Therapist.
Depends on just how much of a commute you want. If you really don’t mind like 45 min to an hour each way, Murfreesboro would probably fit if you want a yard and smaller town. Other areas that are closer to Nashville/Brentwood that you can still have a nice yard, with not quite as much of a city feel are: Mt Juliet (east of the city), Hendersonville (north of the city) and Spring Hill (south of the city).
Spring Hill would be the shortest commute as that’s south of Franklin and into Brentwood, and Hendersonville or Murfreesboro would probably be the longest. All 3 are outside of the city, smaller feel but still have nice communities, decent schools and lots of outdoor activities. Hendersonville and Mt Juliet are both close to lakes too.
Sumner County side of Goodlettsville, Beech High School, close to Moss Wright Park, Baseball is big anywhere around the Goodlettsville, Hendersonville area. Close to I 65 about 45 min. drive depending on Nashville traffic to Brentwood. Close to Nashville about 15 min and you go down Long Hollow Pike toward Beech and Shackle Island about 5 miles and you're in the country. Stores and the like are very close.Got one for you Nashville area folks...I grew up in SE Tennessee and later spent 7 years in Clarksville while in the Army. For the last 8 years, we've mostly lived near Houston. My wife is from Chattanooga and we've been itching to get back to Tennessee. I've got a solid job opportunity in Brentwood and we're researching where we might want to settle in if it all works out. I don't mind a commute if it means we can get a little more yard and a smaller town feel. I know we wouldn't be buying a place in Brentwood. We've got 3 kids ages 8, 6, 4. My oldest eats, sleeps, and breathes baseball. We're an active family that loves outdoor activities. Obviously schools are important. Any recommendations or advice?

What trash! Break all kinds of Level 1 rules and he gets cleared for the preferred program, yet we had a HC get a show cause for lying about a stupid BBQ! I hate Bama. I hope we light his defense up for 60+! Our program needs to make it personal to embarrass his defense.Apparently Pruitt has been “cleared” by the SEC to return to the conference again. Bama fans expect him to be their next DC. Hopefully they promote him to HC lol
I've got a Mont Blanc that I like a lot.5, 2, 4, 9. . . 9 is an unlisted pen. . .
Cross or Mont Blanc? I prefer Cross, just because I was gifted one.
A guy I used to work with told me a crazy story about the Mont Blanc pens. Something about Hitler and a Jewish jewelry designer he made create the pen. Idk if it's true, but a neat story.
Have you, or anyone, tried to use one of the infinite pens that doesn't use lead or ink?
