In the depression my grandad drove a Grayhound Bus. When they layed him off he sold mattresses, painted houses, & grew
his own food. Nothing spectacular there, just a have too attitude. Dude was always dressed to the 9's, it didn't hurt that Mamaw worked at Darden's!

Always preferred to wear shirt and tie. Sans the tie, still follow the professional mindset. Whether selling TP, or, medical devices it shows a level of professionalism, shows others you GAF about details.

Fortunately I could slap on a Johnny Depp mask, and still my wife would wake up lookin' better. She doesnt have to work at it.

I wear jeans and a polo or pullover sweater most days. I get more done and do it better when I am comfortable. Everybody is different though and I am glad for it.
