if they lived across the street from one another.... lol

Darnell Wright just showed the newcomers how you do it. All-in from the first day to the last game of the last season. When others bailed, he stuck it out, and he left the program far better than he found it. I'm glad the incoming guys and this weekend's recruits will get the chance to be around him.
He will always be a favorite! 🧡

SIAP but Shane Beamer does not handle criticism in the media well lol….

The thing is he came into the meeting with those names because he looks down at his notes just about every time he mentions another name that he reached out to inquiring about him. It’s not whether or not he is well liked, a good man or if he can call plays, it’s whether or not his offenses have been successful. Of the last 5 seasons he was an OC in the NFL, his offenses have been down right poor to awful. So, he may turn out to be great hire, but it doesn’t look like one currently.

Since we’re sharing stories about our families, my daughter just called to tell me about her conversation with my grandson. He was asking her where different family members came from so she started naming their mama. After he had went through everyone he knew it went like this…
Him…where did Jesus come from?
Her…Mary
Him…the one with the sheep!?!

He will! I met Darnell and his mom on their first visit to Knoxville. She wanted a safe, supportive family environment and knew right away she'd found it in Knoxville. They've been so appreciative of Tennessee over the years, and he's been a great role model. Really glad he got to experience this special season-- and much respect to him for staying the course to help us finish strong. Getting to 11-2 with a win over Clemson is far from meaningless.

🧡 Hope we can continue to get players like this!
