Problem is, will AD white have the intestinal fortitude to hire a the best coach he can find or is he going to work within the confines of what previous ADs did, which was hire a former lady vol and if not that hire a women regardless of skill? I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
Tbf the last point is against the other two. Dooley left us worse off than ever with his crap recruiting. Butch did one hell of a rebuild. Unfortunately it was built on paper walls. He followed Brian Kelly at Central Michigan and Cincinnati where player development and the culture was already established. He followed Derek Dooley at TN. Enough said. His record at Arkansas State is 5-19. Total tool and loser.
May not have known it was that time of monthWTF? Like really, what the actual ? And beyond that why cancel their season? That 22 year old robbed those kids and the kids shouldn't be punished for it. No 13 year old (and I'm sure there were a few even younger) is going to be able to stand up to a 22 year old period.
2 dipsh$ts…. The varsity coach was encouraging it
Why NFL? Any sport is as susceptible. The NBA dude got away with it for quite some time. College kids and players have been doing it for decades. And with online betting you can bet any college game or even prop bet the players from your phone. The thing is it's like insider trading. Hard to keep from happening, at best you can detect it after the fact. It’s just a matter of time before some big NFL gambling scandal occurs and we find out how much they’re fixing games. This probably isn’t it but in time…
Why would he? There's no suggestion to that other than there are about as many women coaches in women's basketball as men, so yes the odds are about even for it to happen.
Nor has any past hiring ever been about it. It simply boils down to one thing: being a direct descendant (in ways) to Pat. If ole Tyler had panned out, no doubt he would've been next in line.
Does anyone ever bring this up when hiring our men's coaches??
Lol, it's widely known that they'll never hire a man for that job. It's always been dictated to the AD what the parameters were. To suggest otherwise is pure naivete. Why would he?
