Okay. That's funny. I read his post and my immediate thought was it had to be fake. It's a direct rip-off of the plot of the Karate Kid...even down to the details of a kid that picks up a new sport for a summer beats the local kids that have been training in that sport their entire lives.Lol. Karate Kid wasn't even what I was thinking of. Escapes me.
Y’all don’t do t
Y’all don’t do this to me. I’ve got a five and two year old. I am their favorite person and do not want that to change.
So sad..................Great player for the VolsLink to Marvin West article about Johnny Mills passing. A good read
‘Gathering’ planned for Johnny Mills - Knox TN Today
That just means that you're doing your job of parenting correctly (an increasingly rare phenomenon these days).Wish in one hand and poop in the other! lol. I love my daughters and have no doubts that they love me, but there have been times as they have gotten older that I have no doubts that I am (at least temporarily) one of their absolute least favorite people. It is not my job to be their favorite person though. It is my job to be their father.
That is what I tell my wife. If our kids aren't pissed at us at least once or twice a week about something, then we aren't doing something correctly.
Keep the kid count below 3, and you can play man-to-man defense. Once you're forced to play zone the likelihood of breakdowns increases dramatically.I’ve got 5 kids under the age of 12 and the only way we can run the household is with their help. I can only truly focus on three things at a time throughout my day so we created a chart for the kids where they measure themselves daily on these three things:
1. Did you honor others today?
2. Did you listen well?
3. Were you a victim or Victor?
They grade themselves and then rewards or punishments are given out at the end of the week. Some byproduct we didn’t think of is the transfer of ownership to them via the chart. They are less angry with us as we can simply say, “remember the chart.”
Just thought I’d share.
There's really no big separation between 3rd to 11th
3rd is Texas: 294.53
11th is Clemson 274.22
That's essentially a single player difference if he's a high 4 star. So I'm pretty happy with where we are, our lowest rated guy is Nate Spillman and he's a 3 star at 84.39 and an in-state kid. But our per player average is 90.93 which is the highest it's been in quite a while.
I didn't say Tennessee has recruited "poorly" over the last 8 years.
But 90.93 is the highest per player average for a class at TN since Fulmer era. It's only the 2nd class we've had with the average per player rating over 90. Pruitt's best class in 2019 was 90.46 per player.
So objectively this is the best recruiting class TN has had since Fulmer retired, hopefully that translates to on the field production in the future and continuing to be a CFP team.
