And I disagree. Besides, the holding call was the proper call. You may not have liked it, but it was legit. Even the DB admitted he held the receiver. If we're going to get ticky tack with rules, then the correct call was made on that hold.
So only some rules should be enforced. Got it. Let me guess, you were cheering for the Eagles? My point is that you can't get ticky-tac with a mandatory call like complete or fumble. Those have to be interpreted by the letter of the law and they got both the sideline completion and the no-fumble correct after replay. The holding call was holding by the letter of the law, but the official makes a judgement on whether to call it. It is not mandatory the way "complete" or "fumble" are. Nobody would have faulted the official for not calling it because it was a borderline call that basically handed the game to the Chiefs. Most refs and most football fans would rather not have the officials determine the outcome of a game on a borderline call that could have just as easily been a no-call.
It's gonna be like the Kansas game back in 2010I honestly don't know... what's going to happen Wednesday.
We will not be expected to win, and maybe the team will play with a lot more energy in a "no chance" situation. Still not having JJJ and/or Phillips will be trouble. Miller's size will make him an even tougher player to guard than he already is if we're relying on our smaller guards to do it all game. ON is probably the only big we have that could even stay with him, but he's not great at perimeter guarding.
I can’t recommend Stranger Things enough. Such a well made show. Especially the last season, wow was it amazingly good. Especially if you grew up in the ‘80s, like myself, it’s must watch tv.I thought the Will Ferrell EV commercial was pretty good, but my kids have drug me into the Stranger Things series, so I probably just liked it because of its reference.

If you're still sticking with the narrative that the officials got the sideline completion wrong, then I don't think you're being objective about this. You are familiar with the concept of "borderline" right? If the ref had not called that penalty, almost nobody except for Chiefs fans would have thought it was an egregious no-call. The hold did not affect the outcome of the play because the receiver was not really impeded and the ball was overthrown by 10 yards. So only some rules should be enforced. Got it. And I still say if Goedert juggling the ball going out of bounds was a catch, then that was a catch and fumble/scoop and score on the other play.
They are two different scenarios with different requirements to be called a catch. A catch out of bounds requires two feet at the time of possession and maintaining possession all the way to the ground. After the juggle, when he secured the ball, he clearly still had his first foot on the ground and then got his second foot in while maintaining possession after going out. A catch in the field of play requires possession of the ball plus a football move. Two feet at time of possession is a required but not wholly sufficient determining factor of "football move". The player had possession with two feel but before he took a step, the ball was knocked out. It is clearly incomplete. They got both call correct. In one case they confirmed (meaning clear and convincing" rather than upheld. The other, they overturned, which requires clear and convincing evidence. Your beef is with the rule of what constitutes a catch, not the refs.
Actually, the DB tugged on the WR's jersey, impeding his ability to cut outside. The WR made an inside move that the DB bit on, then when the WR cut outside, he grabbed his jersey because he knew he was beat. Mahomes saw it and threw it there because he knew it was a penalty. It was absolutely proper to make that call in that situation. The DB committed a foul hoping it wouldn't be called. To say the WR was "not really impeded" is false. I mean, the DB even admitted what he did after the game. People still bellyaching over the correct call need to get over it.If you're still sticking with the narrative that the officials got the sideline completion wrong, then I don't think you're being objective about this. I updated my previous post as you were responding. I was actually rooting for the Chiefs, but I don't like the call at the end to give the game to the Chiefs. That was a fairly lame ending to a great Super Bowl.
More and more, what is and is not a catch is a judgement call by the refs. I've seen near identical plays ruled a catch by one crew of refs and not a catch by another crew. It's all a bunch of BS. And I'm over talking about it. Chiefs won, fair and square. Done deal. They are two different scenarios with different requirements to be called a catch. Yeah, that's what I love about it...I was born in '76 so pretty close to their ages, although I was never into the D&D thing. We're on our second watch of it and are on S4E2. I went to the Stranger Things experience with my 12yo son a couple weeks ago down in Atlanta. It was OK. The last room you went into was pretty cool because you put on 3D glasses. And after you're finished you go out into an area that's basically the Starcourt Mall food court, and you can get food and sourvenirs.I can’t recommend Stranger Things enough. Such a well made show.
