Surprised to see the Miller news running on the ESPN scroll.

Wait, I was at the hospital when I read the Miller/Oats stuff and I completely misread. How on Earth is he not accessory? Couldn't charge him is simply a lie. Does anyone think a regular black kid in the state of Alabama wouldn't be staring at a felony murder charge if he/she did the same thing? At the very least, the kid is an accessory. A fair DA might allow him to plea that down to something else if the kid is just stupid (and at that age he may well be simply dumb) but most people would be charged in that situation.

Hard to say, but based on laws idk what they would do. So far afaik:

1) He received a text from his friend to bring the friend's gun to him. Nothing more (at least as released).

2) He brings him the gun.

3) Some time later the friend uses the gun to shoot at the couple. Kills the girl. Shooter claims the other man had a gun beforehand.

4) The other man shoots back at the friend, leaving 2 bullet holes in Miller's car. One of the Bama guys took a bullet, not disclosed which.

Ambiguous to say the least, but the overall scenario feels pretty damning to Miller. That said, circumstantial evidence and assumptions don't prove guilt either.

Will be interesting if/when anything else comes out.

Soft fluffy white snow every once in awhile you can snow-blow like leaves out of the way and build snowmen while they watch the whole state plow it clean off the streets day and night to bare asphalt and concrete is different than a frigid hellscape of freezing rain + ice + sleet + more ice with virtually no infrastructure to support it.

True.. an ice storm or a lot of snow in the South and we all freak out.. because we know it’s going to be a flipping mess
