They were frustrated....you could see it. I did not see fear....I saw pure frustration.

They are a program currently that shrinks under the bright lights. 3 straight years getting bounced by a 13 seed or worse. Leads me to believe Painter coaches scared in those games. Or coaches confused. Bc he doesn’t have answers. And the team looked flustered which most likely comes from the top. Again, besides that giant. Thought he did all he could

He builds his teams like it’s the 90’s or something. You’ve got to have good guards these days

Ok. We are not going to agree. Not a big deal. Let's beat Duke tomorrow.
Dang man...I said the played hard, they played their asses off...but I ain't gonna act like literally everything didn't go their way.

Candace said it best...literally every thing had to go their way and it did....good for them...that is what makes The Dance what it is.

They could not get shots they usually hit to drop...that is what caused them to get flustered. Have you never had that happen to you in a game? Were you "scared"...or did you just get frustrated?

I mean they were full scale collapsing on the guy, leaving Purdue dozens of wide open shots...they just could not hit them.
They were collapsing but Purdue didn’t try to do anything different. They made zero adjustments. FDU’s tallest player is 6’6” and they avg 6’3”. The announcers said they are the shortest team in the country. Good game plan by FDU, I give them credit. However, Purdue’s refusal to change anything up is why they lost.

174lber from Virginia Tech, Mekhi Lewis, dislocated his middle finger in the 2nd period of his quarterfinal match. Wrestled the entire 3rd period with it dislocated, tried several times to reset it himself. Won the match, walked off the mat and the coach reset it. Now wrestling in the semifinals with it taped lol.

Another wrestler fully dislocated his elbow, got it reset and taped and kept wrestling.
