I think it’s funny how different generations have something we feel naked without when going into public. My MIL’s generation is lipstick. Mine is foundation. My daughter’s is eyeliner/mascara.

@SoilVol my tea olive tree came back to life, but the jasmine may be done. We trimmed it way down and there’s little to no moisture remaining. Is it too early to pull it up completely?

Up to you. Jasmine plant may be easily replaceable. Don't they grow pretty fast? You could dig into the root ball/base and check for green and new root growth. I've got some blackberries still taking the snail's approach this spring and my viburnums and carolina allspice are just now forming buds. But we didn't get as cold here on the coast.

I bet it never occurred to them! I saw a guy that was asking a bunch of young women if they were a nine or a ten. They all said ten. Then he asked if they were a ten without the makeup. Should have seen their faces!
