However, Tennessee does need a QB because 17 can’t cut it, and I don’t think Levis will either.

It’s also scary to see Jacksonville have a good QB with Houston and Indy likely to draft a QB. Leaves Tennessee behind in the QB race.

Edit: looks like they only show a certain number of matches when comparing schedules of teams playing each other. Why not just show the whole schedule?

Tennessee needs actual shooters. Tennessee looked totally different than most teams in the tournament. Not high level enough athletes. Definitely not high level shooters.

Wild thing is Barnes tried to get those. He got the Auburn shooter the prior year (couldn't play D) then he gets Key this year who apparently only scores against lower competition.

Seems he's going to have to find them out of high school. These days it's just such a fine line - I mean he did exactly that with Chandler and the 2 5*s the year before...but they all went 1 and done...that's just hard to build off of.

Look at every remaining team...how long has it been for them? These aren't the usual FF/EE teams. They basically kept trying to build and finally got through. It may just take more time for us. Barnes didn't really get us out of the mud till what...2018? And 2020 was a lost season. And in that period we've had some decent shots.

Just hope we get a few more before Barnes hangs it up. Think we will.

Not seeing any boosts for/against a team on FD. Only one I saw was Miami and Texas to both score 75+. You seeing any boosts anywhere else?

I think what we are seeing in CBB this year is a result of the Covid pandemic. Guys using covid years to stay in school, making teams older on average. Lost individual development from the lockdowns. Recruiting and evaluations are behind so some talented guys may have slipped through the cracks.

I had a free bet that I threw down on SDSU to win and Texas to win. I may mirror that with more bets. Only one I’m more worried about is if Creighton gets hot from 3, but SDSU is just so good at defending it.

Still, FAU was shooting well from 3 and we were defending it best in the tournament up until that game.. so I’m a bit gun shy on betting on the defensive team at the moment

I think Miami can win, and I know Texas had a key injury, but Texas is just playing so well right now. Idk, I feel good about that one… which means y’all should fade that and Miami will win

From what I looked at so far, Creighton will have to get hot and stay hot from 3 to win. SDSU does a good job on the perimeter defense too, so it should be a fun game to watch.

Hooker was a basketball player that went to VT to play football.

The intangibles were there and he himself worked wnd earned. Huepel and Halzle just helped pave the road.
