Yeah, places the locals know. Brenda' s and the brown house are whore house's and ft Marx is the moonshine bar in Cosby. I'm not sure if any of them are still open. I think the old couple that ran the moonshine bar died. . . ways the locals spend their money after winning big at the chicken fights, 😆

That was obvious as soon as it suggested going to Memphis. Doesn't matter how fast you drive to get there, it's still Memphis.

I see it differently - knowing Barnes likely will get UT in the tournament every year adds to the excitement of UT basketball.

Gone are the years of hoping we win 2 games in the SEC tourney in order to sneak in to the NCAA tourney as a low-seed. Now we're in it as a reasonably high seed, and one year we're going to catch some breaks and break through for a deep run. I feel fairly certain of that.

My wife was complaining to me the other day that we haven’t gone out for a long time, and so I asked her where she wanted to go.

She replied: “I don’t care, just take me somewhere expensive.”

So I took her to the gas station.

I'm content and will defend CRB for these exact reasons. Our break was this year though IMO. I've lost excitement on a potential deep run but I'll also gladly set myself up for that disappointment every year. Things are so much better than the Zo and Donnie days.
