Man, ChatGPT is pretty dope at concisely answering complex questions. I've had IT and financial calculation questions this week at work and rather than spend 15 minutes googling, scouring Quora, reddit, industry forums, it can spit out both a detailed and nuanced response I can read in less than a minute.

For answering most questions, it absolutely crushes Siri, Google, and the rest.

It even wrote code for me last week that was excellent

Doing some FPGA design work. Needed to bridge Altera/Intel Avalon bus to AXI4/APB3 in Verilog. GPT4 took a believable shot at it.

Frankly, it scares me.

I’ve been pretty happy with it. Had it do some light yard work yesterday in preparation for the mowing season. Did a respectable job, and I only heard it vow revenge on @Enki_Amenra twice.

I cannot understamd, for the love of me. Why people enjoy these.

Granted LOTR was dumbest thing id ever heard of. Till I read the books, now I own ever extended edition.

Just be careful. I have found it to give wrong answers. It'll say something wrong. I'll correct it. It'll apologize. Strange.
