DI Council adopts proposal for student-athlete representation - NCAA.org

The council adopted new recruiting rules for official and unofficial visits. Moving forward, prospects will no longer have a limit to the number of official visits they can make to NCAA member schools. Prospects will be limited to one official visit per school

No more "5 official visits". But schools are still limited, so there's still a restrictive plate somewhere.

Yep I totally release that. I know exactly how you build a NC roster. You do what Bama and UGA has. Stack high 4 and 5* class after class and be very selective about how many 3* you take.
Well…. We don’t have the recruiting base that Georgia does not the pull that an Alabama/Saban does…. Maybe we can build our roster/team like Clemson did… We already beat Bama and Clemson with our approach… Georgia is next!!!

He plays pretty close to us in Asheville…. We are going to purchase one of his baseball cards so my son can try and get it autographed.
Oh dang! Just saw where he was sent over the other week. Ballpark is a 2 minute walk out the door...will definitely have to go now and rep orange!

Exactly, we went to overtime with an average Pitt squad, and then beat Bama at home. It’s any given Saturday again for the first time in years and that’s exciting.
That Pitt game was pivotal and was the launching pad for the team last year. Pitt may have been an average team but for some reason they had a mental edge over our guys. Tennessee easily had the better team but our guys looked like there were almost playing safe which is very uncharacteristic of them. But they executed when it counted to get win. It really was more mental than anything else and that's where it "clicked" for them. After that game though, it seemed like the "buy-in" process went into overdrive, the players confidence soared and they believed they could beat any team they faced. Florida and Alabama have had that mental edge over our guys for years but that didnt seem to be the case this year.

I think that is more of a reflection of our attitude as fans over the past decade than anything with the team. Too many here we go again moments.

Pretty sure the buy in and confidence was already there in the locker room. Otherwise we don’t bounce back from that muffed punt. That’s what has happened so many times before. Team couldn’t overcome adversity for a variety of reasons, conditioning us as fans to expect disaster, but Heup and the team already knew that even having executed poorly throughout that game, they could get it done. And they did.

I still believe that last year's team wouldn't have been the same if Tillman didn't get hurt. The Pitt game was close because Hooker tried to force everything to him instead of spreading it around. Once he went down our offense exploded with Bru, Hyatt, and Keyton all making huge plays in every game.

Pitt was def average but theyre the type of program that always has a ton of 4th and 5th yr type guys. It makes it difficult to put them away consistently.

i agree it was the launching pad point.
