Orlando’s stock dropped big time since his time with Herman or even our last DC search. This is rep rehab for him imo. I agree he’s a big get for Golesh in the process.
Yeah he was a hot commodity there for a few years. Crazy how things change. But yes big time get for Golesh. Fast tempo offense with his aggressive defense. I’m excited to watch them this year.

I’ve been scrolling back, but I can’t find it—what was the movie or series that y’all were recommending?

We lost to USCjr by 25 last year and the season went terribly, insanely, unfathomably well. We sat at #1...my post-2003 brain still has trouble wrapping around that.

Crazy things happen in single games...doesn't mean something has gone terribly wrong.

Just please dear god let's keep our heads cool if Heupel doesn't somehow miraculously pull off B2B 10+ win seasons after 15 years of crap football. It will not mean something is wrong or "needs to be fixed". It means we started from the bottom and it takes time to build a sustainable machine. And part of that will be the big increase in talent just now reaching campus, but also heading to Ktown in the near future. Patience, whatever happens. We got a DUDE at the helm. And that DUDE said emphatically, even after 11 wins, "we're just getting started".
Exactly, we went to overtime with an average Pitt squad, and then beat Bama at home. It’s any given Saturday again for the first time in years and that’s exciting.

Cool story bro time. I have seen the photos and heard bits of the story first hand.

The wife of a first cousin on my wife's side of the family had gone to FL to see family over Easter. She heads to the airport to come home to find her flight is delayed (imagine that). So she hangs around by the gate bored out of her mind for a couple of hours with others who are heading back to Knoxville. They are all worn out and grumbling. A tall, good looking, nice, young black man, (she's white, matronly, about 60 years old) strolls over and asks her if she is as bored as he is. She laughs and tells him she needs to get back to Knoxville to see her grand babies and take care of her handicapped husband since she has been gone for a week. He laughs and asks her if he could sit with her while they waited and she tells him of course, she would enjoy the company. They start having a conversation and talking about family, the trip down there, and so on. She asks him where he worked in Knoxville or did he go to school. He laughs again and gives her his name.

It was Joe Milton. She said she nearly fell out her seat since she is a big Vols fan. That's when the photos started getting taken. They had a great time getting to know each other and exchanged phone numbers.

They finally arrived back in town later that evening. About the time she was walking in the door to her home, she got a text from Joe asking if she made it home OK.

What a guy. Class act. What a blessing to be Vol fans with who is wearing the orange.
Wow. That is a fantastic story!!
