It’ll result in every defense playing a lower number of plays per game… not just Tennessee’s.I couldn't care less about the running clock after first downs. If there's one thing this offense DOESN'T need, it's more time. I think this will actually result in our defense playing a lower number of series each game.
The NCAA is determined to turn college football into the NFL. Bad for the game and bad for fans. If they want shorter games, then stream line replay system and cut commercials.Three changes to shorten Division I and II college football games..
-Running the clock after first downs
-Banning the use of consecutive timeouts by a team
-Carrying over a foul to the second or fourth quarter rather than playing an untimed down
I've never met a single college football fan who complained about the average length of games. I'm sure there are a few out there, but I don't understand where this urgency is coming from around shortening the game. The NCAA is determined to turn college football into the NFL. It doesnt matter for me personally. But for newer generations it would be nice. Honestly I could sit and watch us score 100 all day long, against these doofuses.I've never met a single college football fan who complained about the average length of games. Oh my god, who left the door open in the FF------------SHI^That and the fact that this team has yet to show gradual improvement in any facet of the game. Rather, they just keep getting worse. I'm NOT saying that Vitello needs to be fired or on the hot seat, but I'm really disappointed in how he's handled this year's team. None of the players look like they want to be out there.
Kinda reminds you of our football program when politics ruled the dayYep. She'd want to fix it. She thought Holly had earned her shot-- but she wouldn't have watched her flounder for years. UT assumes some responsibility for letting the LV program get to where it is. Some are okay with it; others aren't. It's a political football.
That brings back good memories. I was at that game and it has been too longView attachment 547311 been way too long since this one. Vols need to add another
Yup. Fewer plays and possessions is not optimal for us.It’ll result in every defense playing a lower number of plays per game… not just Tennessee’s.
