True story –

After our game with Bama last year and the 2 seconds left on the clock after Bru’s 1st down catch Saban goes to the NCAA rules committee to get the rule changed. They agree to a running clock after first downs in college football D1 & D2. Heupel sneaks in after Saban leaves and convinces the rules committee that the clock should continue to stop after first downs in the last 2 minutes of each half. True story.

Saban finds out Heupel outmaneuvered him again.

His reaction is so rewarding. I’ve always focused on his meltdown, but I just noticed a new level of appreciation - he is surrounded by an amazing shade of orange. I hope orange continues to be the ruin of Alabama’s current run.
