That wasn't my issue. Kids are encouraged to transfer all the time. My issue was with the statement, "The majority of those kids will NOT find another place to play...because they're NOT good enough!" As I said before, I am assuming that was not a quote from Deion. Any head coach that would say that about an outbound player no longer deserves to be a head coach.

Of course, I saw a statement earlier today from one of Deion's outbound players. He said that Deion told him to hit the portal, but he said that then Deion wouldn't release any of his game film for other teams to review. If true, that's a crappy move.

In his defense, what could he say? Nobody likes to be asked if they're too dumb to do their job because they scored poorly on a test. Best response is probably, "That test isn't my job and not a good indicator of my skills. My track record is fine and the people who count know that."

No idea if he's right, but it's a good answer.
