Agree with flatness. No bueno.Funny you ask. Was talking about this very thing with a co-worker just this week. There are about 5 of us scattered across TN.
In all fairness, I dont like big cities. Nashville is sprawled out, and seems to have no soul. Again, I'm sure I'm way off base here to some of you, this is my opinion. Traffic is abyssmal, as is any large city.
Also do not care for the topography, flat expanses. We are blessed in NE TN with lots of mountains.
Fire away, Oda.
@TN-POSSUM im here brother! Trying to stay on top of things and can only get stuff done when you redneks aren’t distracting me! How ‘bout them Vols! Screw those nerds on West End. And be happy today Vol fans, lotta SEC teams taking it on the chin tonight.
We were discussing that no qb had been successful in the NFL from the beer and shoot….I was talking about Heupel’s version and Art Briles bc they are similar. As a qb coach…. They ran the Air Raid offense at that time… Heup didn’t start incorporating veer and shoot concepts till near the end of his time at Oklahoma… I do think that Heupel can develop QBs…. Guys from this offense just need to prove it on the NFL level.
Surely there is some rhyme or reason to the madness. The problem is that with the rookie deals now it's so much more profitable to try and hit on the franchise QB every draft.
Lots of super bowl teams have had QBs still on their rookie deals it's actually more cost efficient than what the Jets are trying to do.
It’s more about the narrative that the offense doesn’t prepare the QBs, wrs, RBs for the next level…. We need some successful players to change that narrative.I think it's just starting from a poor position to make anything of it, simply because...
Hardly anyone runs the veer and shoot. And it's reasonably new.
Simple as that. Not nearly enough data. Talking maybe 2 or 3 schools out of 131 every year. It's not even worth dissecting at that low volume of data.
It’s against NCAA rules so they can call compliance…. It’s more than likely they were just pushed very hard through that door….. probably rightfully so…. An athletic scholarship is for people that are good enough at their level of sport…. Baseball players learn that lesson everyday…. Tony V over recruits every single season…. The best stay on the roster. No, I know multiple specific players who were told their scholarships were being pulled at a P5 school. They are not being helped to find new schools. And it is not just Colorado
Tim Hortons is a staple in Canada. There is one about every 5 miles in any Canadian city. The food reminds me of Perkins.Never heard of Tim Horton’s and it’s been forever since I ate Perkins or Bob Evans, but if memory serves, I’m going to have to say Cracker Barrel. McDonald’s shouldn’t even be on the list for consideration. Hardee’s breakfast >>>>>> McDonald’s breakfast.
