I missed your posts about the first 2 wins…because there weren’t any. You were too busy posting about the Lakers on Friday night.

Pure gold that you tell people to “grow up.” We aren’t getting over the fact that we won 2 of 3. I choose to enjoy the successes and not dwell on the failures. But I get it…some love to wallow in the misery and let everyone know about it.

...and it's baseball. The greatest teams in the history of the sport lost games. It is not a sport in which any team wins every game. Everybody with half a clue realizes that. Of course, that excludes BigOrangeTrain.

Bc Kentucky is a good baseball team that just swept South Caroline….. baseball is a game of inches that has many ups and down….. the most likely result of this weekend was that we would win 2 of 3 and that’s what happened.

Hahaha. That’s great. I always thought a modern rework of Job would be a good novel, and Bildad would be fun to write.

Job is one of the very great works of antiquity. The reactions and speeches of his friends are profound.

Archibald MacLeish produced and published a modern play-in-verse version called J.B. in 1958, but I really don't think much of it. (It won a Pulitzer, which doesn't necessarily signify much imo.) Very quick read, if you're curious.

I would like to know also. I get vertigo sometimes when my neck goes out. I’ve had several doctors and nurses tell me that is not the reason. I just try to get it back in or go to the chiropractor knowing it will stop. Is it standard to say they have nothing to do with each other? Can it show up on an MRI? I did have a NP that did something where I let my head fall off the back of the table with head turned to one side and eyes open while he caught it and held for several seconds. The room was spinning and tried to not throw up, but the vertigo was gone!

Sounds like you have otoliths in your semicircular canals. There is therapy for that. Just have to find a therapist who is good at it.
