The concerns over potential weather issues by numerous analysts and pros about having the PGA Championship in upstate NY in May have proven to be accurately assessed. What a mess and what a shame. It is on one of the more iconic golf courses in professional golf, yet it has been reduced to mudding and hydroplaning golf balls out of seemingly foot high roughs and wet sand when not playing out of puddles on fairways and greens.

I had this discussion with a friend, who didn’t like that there was a frost delay on Thursday. The only thing is that the PGA Tour (not PGA of America) moved their schedule around for the FedEx playoffs to put the PGA Championship in May. April and May are more volatile months because of temperature changes. It is unfortunate, but would that eliminate any course above the Mason-Dixon Line? Playing Southern Hills in Tulsa in August can be brutal, so there is always going to be something. Not sure there is a great answer, but I believe the next two years will be in Louisville and Frisco.

The next time there is an an AD opening, coach opening, asst. coach opening, coordinator opening, team manager opening, majorette opening, trainer opening or head flunky opening, and someone on here does not post about it worrying we will losE said individual, will be the first time.
Our majorettes would never portal out.

Remember when people were worried about AL or Clemson getting Pruitt?

Can’t wait to see the Celtics and Lakers come back and win the series each, and they play for the ship. Lakers win in game 7.

The battle for the most NBA championships.

Can see it now

I feel they owe it the players and the fans to place on the schedule at the most appropriate time of year for whatever course gets the nod if they want to open the entire country up to receiving it. As a result they need to be willing to move it around on the calendar. Masters is locked in as is The Open. That leaves the U. S. Open and PGA to flex. All they have to do is be willing to flex those two and assign the venues accordingly. Oak Hill would be great in June, Southern Hills in May. Etc. Of course the two governing entities would have to be willing to get along with each other and flex it.

The worst part about this round today is that the PGA committee didn't let the guys play lift, clean and place in the short grass. It was raining when the tee time started.

Lakers haven’t lost a home game since March 26th. If they can win these next two then the series is back on. If Denver can steal one of these games in LA though then I can see them winning at home game 5 to head to the finals because Denver hasn’t lost a home game all playoffs either.

South Carolina’s pitcher is dominating. 9 up, 9 down.
Probably another reason they wanted 2 7 inning games today. He’s their best starter so gave them best chance to win the series by stealing a 7 inning game with their best pitcher and not having to use bullpen. Need to make that blowup in their face.
