I believe Disney will pony up the money eventually and we will end up at a 9 game conference schedule.

Regardless, with how the schedules change, we will finally see home/away series with every SEC team in a reasonable amount of time. There are going to be some games we view as rivalries that are going to start being played every other year (all but certainly UGA and UF), but at least teams like UGA will no longer have complete cakewalk schedules.

My guess for permanent opponents:
8 Game Schedule: Vandy
9 Game Schedule: Vandy, Bama, Kentucky

Here's an interesting thing, for several years Cybersecurity companies have been touting "AI" in nearly all of their enterprise solutions (which the Federal gov'ts are customers). This has generally just been simple "machine learning" algorithms. But if true AI is now being incorporated, and the fears become fact, then we'll have the enemy overseeing our defenses, from gov't to enterprises to personal computers and cellphones.

Crowdstrike just introduced Charlotte, your new AI security analyst. Do a search on Crowdstrike's customer base.

I mean gosh damn, imagine how easy it would be for someone in power to be like “use the AI to set off nuclear bombs”

Wont even see that coming. I’m sure someone could incorporate something like “if they try to disarm, override it” or some ********

That is one rich history teacher.

Separately it occurs, Tennessee was at its peak when Clemson was down. It took union of Chancellor, Pres, AD, and coach to not shoot ourselves in the foot.

Knoxville is 1000 times better than Clemson, or the ilk.

Think the reason why we're seeing so much interest from big timers is really a credit to the changes that White has made. Huep and White do have finger on the pulse of what
important to that generation.

Imagine if Hamilton or Fulmer were still busy buildings monuments & painting cheggardboard walkways, and THAT was our big recruiting piece?

Recruiting is fun again.

Anyone else believe if we, the SEC, sticks with 8 games, it may come back to bite us if competing for a playoff spot with another conference who plays 9 games?

You know the talking heads will push that narrative..

Every time I see a quote from him I can't help but wonder why anyone outside of Missouri cares what he thinks. I did enjoy watching his post game press conference after our game the last two seasons...looked hungover, sad, and clinging to his Diet Coke can. 10/10...would love to watch again in 2023.
