Honestly 11 potential T25 teams. The teams with the least chance are UK, MSU, and UCF but all three of those schools sniffed the Top 25 last year I think.
Kentucky gets Aub, GA, TN, FL, TX, and Ole Miss. Giving them benefit of the doubt, that's 5 losses, splitting difference on Piss. Louisville is winneable.

They STILL managed to get an easier draw + three cupcakes. 🤢 Honestly i'm seeing 6-6, on their patsy schedule. A tougher SEC schedule will be tougher on them, SC, Misery, and Candy than anyone else.

The folks complaining about the ‘24 schedule need to grow a pair and shut up. It’s the SEC, EVERYONE has a difficult schedule. Everyone.

Personally, I can’t wait to watch all these great matchups!!! And with the playoffs moving to 12 teams we’ll still have a shot every year of making it regardless of the schedule.

Yeah, if you want to be part of a super conference, you have to come prepared to play a super conference.

wont have to be near perfect like you do now to get in the playoff. The conference is so loaded it'll be a little like the NFL in that you can afford to lose a couple. Just gonna beat the crap out of each other all yr. So thats good to know there's some cushion. Its gonna be fun and i look forward to being in the playoff regularly for years to come. We are getting really good at the perfect time.

Prob will be some 9-3 type SEC teams in those 9-10-11-12 spots all the time that are way better than some teams from other leagues who maybe have the same record or even a game better.

Exactly. Lose nothing OOC and no more than 2 in conference and we are in the playoffs where anything can happen with an O like we have. Just like the result from last season, 10-2. Which was Heup's second on campus playing primarily with the previously failed HC's players.

This is going to be so much fun to watch now. No more UGA and Bama hiding behind a manicured schedule.

SEC really did a great job with the schedules imo. There will be marquee matchups every week. Going to be amazing!

Tennessee wasn’t Tennessee for pretty much the entirety of their winning streak against us.

2023 game was the first good on good matchup in that series arguably since the 1990s.
So, "Tennessee wasn't Tennessee" for 25-30 years, despite what our record says we were. And Bama is no longer Bama because of a one year minor blip is record where they still won 10 games. In other words, Tennessee has always been Tennessee no matter what the record and recruiting said, but Bama isn't Bama, no matter what their record and recruiting says.

It sounds like you're inventing a narrative.

Bama will still be a massive challenge. They are still Bama. Hopefully we will be up for it again this year, and in their house this time.

Respectfully, I have no desire to grow a pair.

🤣🤣🤣

We concur, SaS. We love you just the way you are.
😊 Good! I was hoping for just one year not having them both while we caught up on talent, and maybe there would not be as much complaining in here lol. But I agree everyone has a hard schedule, and there will be amazing games every week.

Agreed.

If anything, the new schedule (and playoff expansion) has evened the playing field to truly make the SEC the Jr NFL, as far as MEDIA is concerned. More competition is good.

This has also solidified that the SEC is angling for a massive payout via new TV deal. Whether that means ESPN gives them a king's ransom (meaning everyone will have to have ESPN+ or Hulu TV), or they go to a few different services for different primetime slots.

for reference, the NFL is currently engaged with:
YouTube TV
ESPN/ABC
Amazon Prime

Apple TV is involved with MLB and MLS now

Netflix has said that they want to break into sports streaming

I think Paramount+ and Peacock are locked in with the B1G and that new deal. Max (frmerly HBOMax) could want to throw their hat in the ring too.

I wouldn't be surprised if ESPN+ gets to keep a lot of the traditionally PPV/JP games. Someone big like Apple or Amazon steps in to secure the former CBS Game of the Week slot, and a new player like Netflix tries to carve out some other primetime for the SEC. One or all of those services will want rights to create original content as well. Documentaries and biopics about current or former players, coaches, teams that they know the SEC fans will eat the hell up.

everyone but A&M ;). I personally like our 'one-off' schedule. Although I'd rather have liked to see Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss or A&M over UGA/UF.

Okay, y’all that pray please say one for me today. It’s Craft Day for Summer Reading. I have 98 kids and 12 crafts and not very dependable volunteers this year. The chronic fatigue has already gotten to me Tuesday. But I will have survived another year after today with only prize day left! Dreading the day but excited for it to be over. Let’s get some commitments this weekend to help me celebrate!! 🧡🍊🏈

You got this!

My pick is -5...........Corey Conners
I'm taking Keopka and -6...I hate Koepka, so of course he will win...the guy is just weirdly great in majors. It sucks that he sandbags every freakin regular tourney or he could have been a 10+ majors, 40+ win all time great....I will never acknowledge him as an all time great because of his non major record.
