Still crying about it. Wow.

This is what happens to celebs and tyrants that surround themselves with 'yes, men.' In Saban's case, he's got an entire state that believes this with all their hearts (they also think they were jobbed out of TSIO by the refs) and can't understand that 2 losses doesn't entitle them to the playoffs. When people reinforce your sense of entitlement that strongly and universally you will eventually start to believe it yourself. Saban's been surrounded by this for more than a decade. To everyone else, his statement is absurd but to Saban it's logical (it's what his fans have been telling him on a loop).

If I ever find myself in a similar position, I'm keeping some of you curmudgeons around to remind me that every single thought I have isn't a good one just because I had it. lol.

Waaaaaahhh

Saban has become insufferable.

Dumbest comment in the thread on that post by a college basketball analyst

In response to how TCU would have done in the SEC

" A good amount because SEC teams like to schedule teams like App State in week 11"

Okay App State is a cupcake now? When did that happen? Insane.

How do people still make this argument? Every single P5 plays low level G5's and FCS schools. Playing one low level team late in the year just cancels out every tough game you play?

He's also a college basketball guy, and P5's in basketball are notorious for ducking road games in the non-conference. Especially those against good mid majors.

It's going to make Bama's inevitable decline that much sweeter to witness.

Honestly, I think they get two chances to find the guy after Saban before all hell breaks loose. It's almost a given the immediate next hire will fail to live up to expectations, so the real pressure will be on the second guy. If he also fails (and when a 10-2 season is a disappointment, it's extremely likely), we will some incredible levels of dysfunction in Tuscaloosa. Everyone with an ounce of influence down there will have their own ideas for fixing the problem and it's going to be a total disaster for them.

The only way to really avoid it is if Saban appoints his successor NOW and starts handing off the program little by little, but he won't. He's either going to pull a Spurrier and quit mid-season when they start 5-3 or just stick around until the program has tanked.

That “analyst” has 84 followers, man. He just pays $8/month to the richest man in the world so he can sell ppl that he’s important.

Not to sound like a curmudgeon but.....

Why won't we wear orange? How can you be TN literally not wear TN orange in a tournament.

We wore orange in game 1 against Charlotte I think and that's it.

Personally, I like the uni we wear. The regular orange and white for everything gets boring af. I’m glad it’s not the 90’s early 2000’s still.

Okay we haven't worn orange at all in the entire tournament. 8 games no orange. That's absurd to me.

I dont find orange and white boring at all and you're suppose to wear alternates for special occasions.

Should football just wear gray and black all year because our orange isn't cool enough apparently.

Depending on the look of the black and gray unis, yeah I wouldn’t mind wearing them all year. Recruits would love seeing it as well.

Team decides. They got hot or won an important game in those unis so that’s what they rock. Superstition and baseball
