I was in the process of leaving when the fumble happened. I had just left my seat in the upper deck and walked through the breezeway when I heard the roar. I ran back through the breezeway to see what happened. It was an amazing time. That game was over. All Arkansas had to do was not make a historically stupid mistake --- and they did.

Most amazing turnaround for me.
Never doubted. Never contemplated leaving. I didn’t know how they would do it, but I knew that we were going to win.
Totally sober. I prefer to watch the games that way, couldn’t remember a great game because I was drunk. Couldn’t stand the feeling of others talking about the great plays and all that I could remember was screaming.
Not again. Much prefer memories of the games. In the words of @Weezer, I don’t judge others for their decisions, but alcohol and Vols games don’t mix for me.

The kiffin/dooley/pruitt years were especially rough. Butch started off with hope and then crashed and burned so badly. Those were the drinking years.

The CJH years are going to be so glorious that I want to remember every second of every single game.

Like this year’s

I posted in the NFL thread, but I talk to folks in this thread more and have a better sense of whose feedback I should ignore. Having said that - with the NFL off-season almost over - have any of you ever been to the open sessions of training camp? Thinking of taking my sons (8 and 6), but not sure what type sessions folks can watch and if the kids will be entertained/enjoy it.

What a nice ending to Jury Duty.

I just kept thinking, "man this guy is too nice". Love how it all wrapped up.

What service is that on?

Not sure why I’m even asking bc I refuse to pay for anything besides YouTube TV. What was the point of cord cutting if I end up paying just as much, if not more, than cable.

You can watch it for free on freevee, a free streaming service app.

Nick and Doc have not been around that I have seen.

I went to camp for burn injured children, got Covid, behind at work because of Camp and Covid. Had multiple meetings everyday during that week and 1/2. I hate meetings as I am a physician not an administrator, but somehow I am on multiple committees. Last Friday, flew to Orlando for my daughter’s last dance competition. We found out that she didn’t dance until Monday, so Friday night we went to Cirque du Soleil (Disneyish), Saturday we went to Universal Studios, Sunday we went to Disney. My daughter spent Sundae with her dance friends at the Magic Kingdom and my son and I geeked out at the Star Wars area of Hollywood Studios. I know that Disney gets a bad rap on here, but hands down the Disney experience beat the hell out of Universal. The Disney employees all seemed happy and were very friendly and helpful. The Universal employees were mostly brusque and not friendly. They seemed put out by the weather. The Hulk roller coaster and the Velocicoaster were awesome.
Everyone seems to have some residual issues after Covid, my taste for water has changed. I used to be able to handle any water from the faucet. The Orlando water was nasty to me, but not to my kids…

This has been fun, but bittersweet as this could be the last time that I get to watch my daughter dance. I have to admit that I have cried so many times. Pretty much every dance ends in joyous tears. She’s such a joy to watch. Her dance talent is a true gift from the Lord.

With all that going on, I haven’t had much time for VolNation.
My group is switching to a new Electronic Medical Record. I’m one of the physician superusers. I’m also now the lead compliance officer for the physicians. I shied away from all the group responsibilities when my kids were younger. Now that they are 18 and 21, I am stepping up so that the docs with younger children can spend more time with their kids. I’m trying to be a good guy, but I’m getting screwed time wise.

Have missed y’all.
But I will definitely be here for

Woke up this morning to the call that my brother died in a freak accident. Then I got the call this afternoon that my friend of 30 years, found dead this morning by his fiancé.

(A) I believe the gospel, and there is comfort.
(B) Create excuses to show and tell those around you that you love them.

Prayers for sure. 🙏

LSU fans are the douchebaggiest and sleeziest fans I've ever seen. Went to a game in Death Valley with a friend who knew some LSU fans with a tailgate. Watched 50+ yr old men catcall, say abhorrent things, and follow after <21 yr old girls walking by trying to get sexual favors... in public... on campus... it was disgusting.

I know a small sample size doesn't represent a whole fanbase, but later walking to the stadium almost every tent we passed was calling out to my wife and my friend's wife. Literally walking with us. Nothing we could do about it but ignore and keep walking lest we get jumped.

Seeing this picture gave me flashbacks to that. Probably been an gigachad to that young lady all night.

Channel your inner Memphian. Shoot the first one with out even looking and it ends quickly.

I actually prefer to slice open the first ones belly and drag the intestines past the next tents.

Must be an after effect of the Covid 😳

Nashville Stars……

I will not blame anyone for keeping their allegiance to the Braves, or anyone else.

I became a Steelers fan at age 4 (1974) and it took me a few seasons to really 100% become a Titans fan, and not be torn when they played each other. That being said, I’ll be a Stars fan day one…….
