Switching from Greenway to Athena.
So far the transition has been a cluster f$&k.
The online training is not good at all. The live group training has been so generic that it is not applicable to our Orthopedic practice.
I’m scheduled for two separate individual training sessions this Friday because we “go live” on 8/1 and none of our “physician champions” have any knowledge of how to actually use the Athena EMR.
I have friends who are involved with custom EMRs and huge software projects that require extensive training. This company absolutely sucks in comparison. My friends always arrange training around the customer’s’ schedules. Athena has issued training times during our clinic or hospital times. Our practices are so busy that we aren’t about to block time for the training. They evidently expect us to lose money for their convenience.
Rant over. I don’t get royally pissed very often, but I definitely am now.
