Yes we are getting some great recruits and it's not even close to being over, but there is a distinct trend starting to emerge to where we are hot, trending, top 2, etc... then the other school comes in at the end and closes. Can't get them all, but definitely a head scratcher when we are supposedly hot/in the lead on many of these kids... Any word on the screet as to how our current NIL stacks up against other teams nationally? Surely this is not handy-capping us in the end...

I was walking past a farm, and a sign read: “Duck, eggs!”
I thought, “That’s an unnecessary comma.” Then it hit me.

It would be fun to see them play against each other for 2 years.
and
If he does come to LA, they are going to be even better than they were last year.................and that's saying something. The one thing LA is missing is a QB.
As far as I know Deuce's team in Lucedale is not a top team, but he does play good competition.

I don't know if such a move by Deuce would help or hinder our efforts with these guys. I would decide my druthers (which would have no effect, anyway) on that basis, if I could know. They are both exciting to watch.

God/Gaia/aliens' plan for animals is beyond our comprehension.

Even mosquitos and no seeums have a plan. Even Tom Cruise has a plan ( added for you @bignewt ).

Guess extinct animals didn't get the plan memo. Which amount for >99% of all animals to have ever existed on this planet.

If nature has taught us anything, it's that it dgaf about yer plans...

Uhhh Nintendo isn’t #1 anymore BECAUSE they’ve neglected tech.

Nah, they won this last round by a lot despite the Switch being on the level of a last gen console. But Nintendo lost the prior ones and not on tech. They lost the Gamecube/Wii rounds on content as the original Nintendo/Video game generation got older, didn't yet have kids and yet still gamed. Sega had been an early contender to pick up that market which is to this day substantial (average age of gamers right now is 35 years old). But in the 2000s, Xbox and Sony positioned themselves as where you had to go to get mature games. Nintendo leaned too far into their kid-friendly image to the neglect of games they once carried and the neglect of the generation of gamers that made them while Sony and Xbox positioned themselves as the only place you were going to get games above a T rating while many others just moved on from consoles to PC.

Now that original Nintendo Generation has kids and of course we're buying and playing Nintendo again but Sony and Xbox were there for our teen years and early adulthood with games that appealed to those age ranges. Sony entered the market hot with every mature game you could want plus great exclusives and Microsoft had Halo and Mass Effect. Games made all those systems not the tech.

Trust me, I owned every super expensive handheld you've never heard of that had bleeding edge graphics and still lost out to Nintendo. lol.

Because our staff wont do bidding wars, if another school makes a better NIL offer then our staff just throws their hands up and moves on
